Bella's P.O.V

I walked out of my house, stretching my whole body like a cat, but I didn't know how I had even managed to get here. The last thing I remembered from yesterday was being in the school talking to Asher for the last time because after that I was not going to see ever again. Maybe after that I fainted and he is the one who brought me back to my house as I could pick up his citrus and sage scent all over my body and in my house as well. I could not understand why the hell he had come to my house, when I had made everything clear. Then why did he need to appear in my house? I had made up my mind yesterday that it was going to be the last time I cried about this whole situation and I was going to forget everything, that's exactly what I was going to do.

Since I got up I have been smiling and enjoying my day. At the same time I had packed up all my belongings that I needed to move which in the end was not very much. I just need to call a taxi and leave for a different city tomorrow. Start a new life all over again. I had taken a bath, but his scent was still on my body. It was as if he was walking with me and I didn't know why but it felt as if he was with me all night because his scent was all over my blanket and bed too. I immediately stopped and touched my body. Wait! Had he touched me too or had we done something more than touching?! I was not conscious so I was not sure. I was sure that I would have given myself up into his hands which would have led me straight to being in his bed. Whenever he was around me my mind started to forget Asher slowly but surely. Why did this happen? I just shook my head, stopping myself from thinking about it too much. It was just my imagination or maybe It all happened because he was handsome. Yes! He was so handsome like Asher. They both are dominating Alphas that loathed each other. I was quite aware that their parents are enemies. I knew this was true as the kiss that Asher had given me in front of him on the school grounds just made lan crazy. He was furious that day. At the same time he was asking me why I suddenly disappeared from the club that night without informing him, he was quite annoyed. Well I knew that it was my mistake as I should have let him beforel left. However, I had no idea how Asher had gotten me out of the club that night. I did not tell him that I was with Asher. Ian acts possessive and obsessed towards me like Lily has already mentioned to me. I feel the same, maybe it's because he was attracted to me, but in the end I cannot accept him. He was not my mate. Even after receiving Asher's rejection I will neither choose him or any other man. Following mom's word I will always be a lone wolf. I could feel Lena giving me narrowed eyes as she heard the word rejection. She was pissed off, annoyed, and angry with me. That was when I noticed Lily beside me who had just banged her bag on the table next me.

"Oh my God what's wrong Lily? Why are you so angry?" I asked her, worried as it was rare to see her anger. Most of the time she was calm and cheerful.

"I can understand that you have not been coming to work for the last seven days but we have been meeting each other in school during the exam times but not once did you tell me that you are going to change cities and not come back. How can you do this Bella? You totally made me a stranger hiding it, I had to learn about it from Victoria," Lily accused, sounding disheartened lowering her voice now that she had said her piece she was no longer angry, but sad as she felt neglected.

"Please don't think that I neglected you or that you are not dear to me because you are, but I was just thinking before telling you. I knew that you were going to react like this so I was trying to find the right opportunity to tell you. I was going to tell you about it today," I explained as she narrowed her eyes.

"I still cannot understand your reason for leaving this city? Didn't you say that mates live with each other? So tell me if you leave the city will you be able to live without Asher? Only by getting over him and moving on in life, you are just doing something really wrong to yourself," She questioned and I nodded.

"I know and I can see your point, but I have made up my mind. Now nothing is going to stop me. I have cleared the air between Asher and I, he knows that I am leaving. We have both moved on and will not be anything to each other after tomorrow. So you don't need to worry about me. I will be alright and will do great." I tried to explain my point to her, she just rolled her eyes.

"Seems like you do not know the truth," She said, leaving me confused.

"What do you mean? What I do not know?" I asked, she smiled.

"I used to think that I was the only one who was an i***t, but you are also stupid Bella. You will not be able to run away from him. I do not think that he will ever let you go." Lily commented beginning to work. He would not let me go? Why?

"See!!! Did I not tell you? Even she can understand but not you!" Lena barked again, getting active, but only to taunt me. We both smirked at each other and ignored the other. She has really become my enemy. I do not know what would happen after the rejection. I have made up my mind about it but not her.

"Bella." The manager called, entered the shop,at a run. He looked like he had been having a very long day.

"Hey, what's wrong? Just take a breath." I told him with a smile, he nodded his head.

"Well, I came here especially to thank you as I would not be able to see you again. Thank you for everything," I acknowledged. He smiled at me brightly. I gave him a hug as he was the best manager ever. He never bosses me around.

"I am sad that you are going Bella, but I wish you the best of luck. I Hope we will see each other in the future," He said, I just nodded my head. I knew we would never meet, but I could not explain that to him.

"Don't forget to take your pay. It is on my desk. Take it before you leave," He reminded me, I nodded happily. I had totally forgotten about it.

"Well, why were you running?" I asked him, he slapped himself.

"Oh.. s**t! I forgot to tell you something important." He replied. "What?" I asked him.

"Do you remember I told you that one day a man came saying that he was your uncle? He took your scarf?" He asked, I nodded my head "Yes, of course I do, so what?" I inquired, he pointed his finger towards the window.

"He is standing right in front of the shop across the street," The manager remarked, I followed his finger to where he was pointing. I moved closer to the window, there was really someone standing there. He was far away from me and he was standing in the dark, but I could tell that he was a tall man, wearing a blazer and jeans. I used my wolf eyes to see in the dark, the manager was behind me so he could not see my eyes. As my eyes went to the strange man's face the ground crumbled from under my feet. He was the same wolf that had appeared at my house and asked my mom to give him to me. He had killed my mom. It was Lucas! He had a sick smile on his face as he knew I could see him. He had my scarf in his hand as he just kissed it. My blood boiled in fury as I jumped out of the window. Today I was going to take revenge for my mom's death even if I die trying. That day I had only run away because of my mom, but not today. I was about to cross the road, but a truck passed and I could not see the other side. As the truck passed by I could see but I panicked when he was not there. I ran over there and saw he had just vanished.

"WHAT?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!!!" I shouted as I knew it was not my imagination. He had really been here, he had been right in front of my eyes. That was when movement caught my eyes, they moved to the tree where my scarf was tied. I went to it, taking it in my hand. Now I understand everything. He came into the shop looking for me, he took my scarf as he knew my scent. He has found me, that was what my mom never wanted to happen. He found me and now maybe I was also going to die by his hand. I was his next target, he came here to tell me this. I again crossed the road, just as I was about to enter the shop I noticed a woman who was nearly my mother's age. She was looking at me only but it made me nervous.

She appeared shocked at the same time I felt as if she wanted to say something to me, but I chose to ignore her entering the shop. I looked at her through the window. What? She vanished? What was happening to me today? First Lucas appeared then vanished then that woman did the exact same thing.

It was nearly eight at night and I had totally kicked all thoughts of Lucas out of my mind. That coward had been in front of me, but he had run away. I still didn't know what he wanted or why he wanted me. Lily and I were talking about the dresses that we were going to wear to the farewell party for the seniors. She told me that she has nothing suitable to wear as the school had decided on a dress code for both the juniors and seniors. At the same time I had learned that those who do not participate in any type of dancing or drama then they need to participate by wearing a formal dress.

"It's bull s**t! I will not wear anything stupid just because they are requiring me to wear a formal dress," I replied to Lily.

"I also do not want to, but I was informed by the senior girls that those people who are not participating in dancing need to wear something special, something different," She told me, rolling her eyes.

"So what will you wear?" I asked her because she also said that she will not participate in the dancing. The same goes for me. It was embarrassing. In addition I have never danced in my life.

"I do not know, but let's think about it." She answered as I nodded my head, but I was still thinking about what I should wear. It seems like I have to buy something, but they want something special, not regular. It just annoyed me. Only for one day I need to spend my money!

"What's wrong?" I asked Lily as she was looking here and there.

"Why do I feel that only you and I are in the shop and all the customers just vanished," She announced, we both got up from the floor because we both were on our knees and restocking the lower shelf.

"Yes, you are right it is only nine, but everyone left? Why?" I asked as we both came to the counter. The girl who was at the counter had also left, it was like everyone just vanished in a flash. At the same time I noticed that someone had turned the board around from open to closed.

"What the? Who did that?" I wondered and Lily also noticed the changes. At the same time I also saw someone entering the shop with the same walk like a tiger entering his cave. It was none other than Asher. My heart was beating fast at watching him approach. His eyes were fixed on me and his smell was making Lena active in my mind. She was happy to see him again. What was he doing here? I thought, lowering my eyes. I needed to ignore him, but he came and stood in front of me. After seeing him I was thinking about everything that I should not.

"Leo," Lily said, a little shocked, looking at him as he was always following his Alpha.

"Lily!!! I am here to see you!!!" Leo exclaimed, almost jumping on her for a big tight hug. I saw that Lily was startled and blushing. Wait! She was blushing?! Not pushing him away or trying to stop him? Did I miss something? I thought to myself while watching the two of them.

"Stop it," She chided, trying to push him away a little but still could not hide her blush from me. I just narrowed my eyes at her and smirked.

"You did not tell me everything was fine between both of you. You finally accepted your mate," I remarked to her while Leo had the biggest smile. "Yeah we are together," He proudly announced not able to contain his happiness. Lily moved close to me.

"Yes, everything is okay, but don't fall for his perfect act. He is doing this so that he can touch me. He is willing to do just about anything to touch my boobs," She whispered, making me flabbergasted. What? He wants to touch her boobs? It made me laugh when I saw what she was saying was true. Leo again got close to her trying his best to feel her boob! Why did he want to touch her there?

"Don't touch me when your Alpha is watching," Lily admonished, then I remembered that Asher was here. I looked back at him, he had already taken his seat watching everything that was going on between Leo and Lily because of this she was feeling ashamed. "Oh Lily! We are werewolves and do not feel shame. You do not even know what Alpha did with Luna in the club and for how many hours. So what I am doing right now with you is nothing for him," Leo countered, his words made Lily look at me with surprise and made my jaw drop wide open. I looked at Asher in fury as he had a proud full smile on his face to hear that he shared what he had done with me in the bathroom with Leo. I am sure that if Leo knew about it then David also knew. How could he share something like that with others?!

Lily's P.O.V

I saw Bella and Asher looking at each other. I did not know that in the club something like that had happened. Bella had disappeared all of a sudden from there, when I called her she did not pick up. Then David had come there to pick me up saying that she left with Asher, but now the truth had been revealed and I felt as if now I should not be between them. I slowly took my feet out of the picture and Leo too.

"Why are you following me?" I asked, putting the things back.

"Because I want..." He said, holding my hands and giving me his puppy eyes.

"I want to be with my mate." He finished, I just smiled a little. Now the word mate was just like music for me. I like it but I had never told him.

"Don't smile like that or I will kiss you." He warned, pulling me in for a kiss. Wait! It was too fast. I was pushed to the nearby wall and I was kissing him back. I felt his lips going down to my neck. I moaned, digging my fingers in his hair, but that was when I noticed the CCTV camera.

"Stop, there is a camera." I said to him, but he did not give a s**t and continued. I was panicking about what would happen if someone saw.

"No one will see," He assured, nibbling my ear and his hands ventured under my top.

"How do you know?" I asked him, stopping his hand that was about to touch my b****t.

"Because the owner is Asher," He told me, I blinked my eyes to hear the truth in his words. Now I understand everything. The truth behind the double salary. Suddenly he clutched my b****t causing me to moan..

"Hey," I reprimanded him as he had touched me without permission

"You are really making me crazy, Lily." He admitted, as I also closed my eyes.

"I am sorry." I replied as I knew he wanted to do it but I got scared.

"You just missed out on something big Lily. I thought about pleasuring you, but let's save it for the next time," Leo added with a hug, I hugged him back with a smile. Does that mean we are going to do more than that next time? Oh my god. What was I thinking? What would I do then?

Bella's P.O.V

As Lily and Leo had moved out of sight, now it was only Asher and I. His eyes were hyper focused on me, it was making me nervous. Honestly I shivered as I was remembering our night in my bed. I moved my eyes away from him, starting to pack my bag. It will be better for us to not talk with each other. Why was he here? I knew he was still sitting behind me, but I just ignored him placing my last paycheck in my bag. When my eyes went to my scarf I remembered Lucas. How he has found me. He was with his pack, they were likely after me now. I didn't know how long I was going to stay alive. I glanced back at Asher but he was gone. Maybe he left the shop having accepted our truth. I should be happy, but I am not. I was hurt that he left. I tried to forget him and accept my new life, but as he had left there were tears in my eyes. I am alone once again. Always alone.

"I wish I could die before his rejection," I murmured to myself while looking at the scarf.

"Aaaaa..." I moaned, the scarf fell from my hand as I felt his kiss on my neck. I closed my eyes as felt his finger in my hair. He removed it from my back, placing another kiss there. My legs grew weak. I placed my hand on the wall for support.

"I will never allow you to die," He whispered while his hardness poked against my hips. I felt as if he would again do something to me. I turned back to see him.

"Asher..." I called,trying in vain to stop him. I was pushed against the wall as he caged me between his hands. I attempted to push him back, but he grabbed both my hands, pinning them above my head like before. I was getting so nervous around him when he looked at my lips and then my breast.

"What?" He asked, pressing his body into me. I closed my eyes and bit my lips. I was going crazy from his touch and he knew it. He released my cheeks slowly, but his fingers were still on my lips rubbing them softly, his eyes were a caress on them. "Then do it Bella. Lose yourself to me," He pleaded, staring into my eyes.

"Is it that easy?" I asked him, but he could not say anything to me.

"Can you try?" He asked and I smiled at him.

"Should I? Will you be able to accept it?" I inquired. I was looking at his lips that parted slightly, he was going to reply. I knew what he was going to say. He was going to say no. I was going to be rejected right now, but before that I dragged him down to me kissing his lips. I did not let him speak. I knew his eyes were open and he was watching me as tears fell from my eyes. I had gone crazy. I opened my eyes slowly gazing into his.

"Don't reply to me now. I will wait..." I said a breath from his lips. His eyes were also red, he was in pain.

"I will wait until tomorrow. Until then let this mate bond stay between us...for only this last night, I want to feel it," I petitioned, leaving his embrace and kissing his cheeks.

"I hate you." I whispered before leaving the shop.
