Today was the weekend, and Central Plaza was jam–packed. When a video started playing on the big screen at Central Plaza, it immediately caused a huge stir.

Residents of Rosenberg were all too familiar with the incident that happened years ago, so the moment they saw Orlando’s face, they knew the leading lady in the video was Comelia. Before long, someone put the incident online. With Cornelia and others pushing behind the scenes, in just over an hour, the video had spread widely on the internet and quickly sparked heated debates.

Soon after, Comelia received a message from Hannah in Harbor City: “Cornelia, did you catch the Video Incident?”

Comelia replied, “I saw it.”

Hannah said, “Comelia, I’m just gonna cut to the chase. Don’t get mad, but doesn’t the leading lady in the video look a lot like you?”

Comelia answered, “You still recognize me, huh?”

Hannah took a few seconds before responding: “Is that really you?”

Before Cornelia had a chance to reply, her personal and work phones both buzzed with new messages. But she didn’t check them immediately and continued to reply to Hannah: “Yes, it’s me. I was forced to run away from home because of this incident years ago. Now, it’s time to settle the score *

Hannah asked, “What on earth is going on? Who released the video? You should get President Hartley to take action immediately to stop the video from spreading. But, I’m glad that whoever posted the video had some decency and blurred out your face. As long as you don’t admit it, no one can confirm it’s you.

Comelia replied, “We released the video ourselves. We did it to get more people to watch, firstly to prove my innocence, and secondly, I hope more girls who have been through what I have can come forward, ensure their own safety and no longer suffer in silence.”

Hannah said, “Cornelia, you’re so brave! You’re setting an example for girls. This incident has garnered so much attention, and it’s widespread. You can definitely help more girls step out of the shadows.”

Cornelia replied, “I hope I can help them. I originally didn’t plan to blur out the video, but President Hartley insisted I do. I didn’t win that argument.”

Hannah bluntly said, “Blurring out the video is to protect you, which is the right thing to do. Besides, no man, in love or not, would want others to see his wife undressed.”

Hannah added, “I guess you must be busy now. Take care of your stuff. If you need any help, just let me know.”

Cornelia said, “Okay”

After finishing chatting with Hannah, Cornelia started checking messages from others.

Among them, there was a message from Leonardo, who was usually flippant but absolutely reliable in times of need. He sent several messages in a row: “Comelia, is the leading lady in the Video Incident you?”

“If it really is you, I’ll tell Marc right away to delete all these videos from the internet, not leaving a single one.”

“Who’s trying to hurt you? It’s got me steamed! Tell me where that person is now. If Marc doesn’t deal with him, I’ll do it for you.”

He sent so many messages without a reply from Cornelia, so he started getting anxious, “Comelia, why aren’t you replying? Are you crying at home? Don’t cry, you’re the lady of the Hartley Group now. You’ve got Marc backing you up, and there’s nothing to be scared of.”

He was totally freaking out.
