Leonardo replied. “You can drive your assistant, why can’t you drive me? Is it because I’m not as pretty as Cornelia and don’t deserve it?

Marcus didn’t say anything more and drove toward Blueshell Mansion

Sitting in the passenger seat, Leonardo suddenly sighed. “I really want to know what kind of man Cornelia’s husband is. She gave up all her suitors for that man”

Marcus responded, “What nonsense are you talking about? She’s busy every day, where would she get suitors?”

Leonardo said, “I’m one”

Marcus cut him off, “You?”

Leonardo explained, “I like Cornelia, and I wanted to pursue her the first time I saw her. You know that. But she’s married, so she rejected me. Now I’ve known her for over a year and I still haven’t met the man who stole her away.”

This guy had the nerve to say he stole her away!

Marcus made a mental note, but showed no reaction, “Who else is pursuing her, besides you?”

Leonardo said, “You, of course. Marc, honestly, I’ve noticed more than once that you like your assistant.”

Marcus asked. “Why would you think that?”

Leonardo explained. “It’s past nine in the evening, well past your company’s usual end of work time. Yet here you are, still driving your assistant around. That’s not something a normal boss does.”

Marcus asked, “Have you gotten even dumber recently?”

Leonardo asked, “What are you talking about?”

Soon, Marcus drove Leonardo to the Blueshell Mansion parking garage, “Come to my place, I have something to show you.”

Leonardo asked, “What is it?”

Marcus didn’t say more, the two went upstairs together.

After entering the house and leaving Leonardo in the living room, Marcus went straight back to his bedroom. When he came out, he was holding a marriage certificate, “Have a look.”

“A marriage certificate? Your marriage certificate?” Leonardo took it, feeling a bit nervous. “I didn’t expect to see your wife in a photo before meeting her in person.”

Why was he nervous about meeting Marcus‘ wife? He was so nervous he was afraid to open the marnage certificate, worried that the girl in the photo wouldn’t be his type.

Marcus said, “Just take a look.”

Leonardo slowly opened the marriage certificate, and the girl in the photo was Cornelia! He found it a bit funny. “Marc, are you forging a marriage certificate? You have a wife, and yet you made a fake marriage certificate with Cornelia. Isn’t that a bit much?”
