Chapter 489 Who Is Lying

Before this, Rosetta was completely unaware of the seriousness of this matter.

When Rosetta, who had fled to the airport and boarded the plane, was taken away by Colbert's men, she felt the death crisis.

Fortunately, all the evidence was wiped out by her. Although she couldn't prove her innocence, there wasn't any evidence to prove that she had sent someone to hurt Alva.

Eudora tilted her head to look at Colbert and asked, "Is what Rosetta said true?"

Facing her questioning, Colbert's handsome face became even colder. He said, "You should ask him."

He pointed at Chasel with the cigarette between his fingers, with contempt in his eyes.

Eudora's mind went blank, and she was unable to analyze the authenticity of this matter in a very short period of time.

She clasped Chasel's shoulders with both hands and looked at his bruised face, which was no longer handsome as before. She asked, "Does what happened today have anything to do with you?" Based on her understanding of Colbert, Eudora knew that he was not an arbitrary person.

If he didn't have the ability to analyze and judge, it would have been impossible for him to become who he was today.

However, Chasel disdained to lie.

So, who was lying?

Was there anything wrong?

Eudora had no idea about it.

Chasel's eyes were swollen from the beating, but he still looked closely at Eudora's expression.

From her confused eyes, he seemed to see disappointment.

He touched his cheek with the tip of his tongue and licked the corner of his mouth. He snorted lightly, "No."

Chasel finally chose to lie.

"It has nothing to do with you, so it has something to do with her?" Colbert said in a deep voice.

Everyone's eyes fell on Rosetta, and Rosetta's face turned pale with fright. Shaking her head, she said, "No, it has nothing to do with me. It really has nothing to do with me..."

Eudora took a look at Rosetta, who was crying heart-piercingly, and then turned her head to Chasel again. "Is what Colbert said true?"

She stared at Chasel without blinking, as if she wanted to see through him through his eyes.

Feeling guilty, Chasel couldn't bear her burning gaze. He lowered his head slightly and glanced at Rosetta, who shook her head pleadingly. Even though Rosetta didn't speak, Chasel knew that it was Rosetta's strong desire to survive.

She was his younger sister, the only one he considered a family.

"Chasel, why don't you speak?" Eudora asked.

She could tell Chasel's reaction was strange no matter how dull she was.

"It hurts..."

As Chasel raised his hand to cover his chest, he gasped in pain and shook his head firmly. "It has nothing to do with Rosetta."
