I Saved A Mystery Billionaireac (Eudora) -
Chapter 368
Chapter 368 Don't Mention His Name
Although Chasel was very powerful, he was the son of Laville and a member of the Burke family, after all.
Laville had a love-hate relationship with Chasel, but he was absolutely good to Chasel.
Eudora really felt that there was no real hatred between Chasel and his father. It would be best if she could find a way to ease the relationship between them. Chasel shook his head. "I have done a good job myself, so why should I go back?"
"Actually, I think Laville treats you pretty well. You..."
Eudora just wanted to persuade him, but in the middle of speaking, she saw his sharp gaze shoot over, and she immediately fell silent.
That gaze, full of anger and resentment, was as sharp as a knife.
Since she got to know Chasel, Eudora had rarely heard him mention Laville in front of her.
She just innocently thought that the father and son were not getting along well and never thought that Chasel had such rejection and hatred towards him.
"Don't mention his name in front of me."
"I just..."
Eudora hesitated to speak, and after a few seconds of silence, she said again, "As blood relatives, do you plan to keep holding a grudge against your father?"
His hand holding the cup tightened slightly, his brow furrowed, and his cold gaze fell on Eudora again. "He doesn't deserve it!"
These four concise words already expressed his attitude.
"Come on. Let's drink. We won't go back until we're drunk tonight."
Eudora knew very well that the conflict between them was very deep, and the problem between them could not be resolved in a short while, so she stopped discussing this matter. But in her heart, she still wanted to help Chasel.
She had known Chasel since he worked as a security guard at the Philomel Club and had seen him drunk countless times. However, his troubles were not with romance but with the Burke family. She knew that the more Chasel hated Laville, the more it showed that he cared about him.
"Well, let's have some drink."
The two of them raised their glasses and drank heartily, laughing and talking harmoniously.
After supper, they were only slightly drunk.
"Do you need me to take you home?"
After Chasel settled the bill, he asked Eudora but saw her wave her hand. "I don't want to go back. I want to take a walk and enjoy the breeze."
"I'll accompany you."
He said.
"That's fine."
Eudora readily agreed.
She would be leaving Kenison City in a few days, and she wouldn't have a chance to see him again.
