Jack

“Bergarian,” I sighed in exhaustion. “Damn, note to self, Rosalie can get any secrets out of Sampson. Weak pup.”

“Sampson heard that. Mate, too irresistible,” Sampson huffed.

“Where is Bergarian? I’ve never heard of it.” Rosalie tilted her head to the side like a confused puppy. Can I take her again without having to tell her everything? I smirked at her and she narrowed her eyes at me.

“Don’t do that panty dropping smirk, you need to tell me or I’ll get Sampson to.” She crossed her arms and wiggled her eyebrows.

“Ok, Ok! Damn woman.” I rubbed my forehead trying to figure out where to begin. “So, Bergarian is where most of the supernaturals are. There are more than just Werewolves and Vampires. There are Faes, sprites, other shifters like Wolves that turn into different animals, wisps, elves, gnomes, anything you can think of really. They all used to live here on Earth but humans aren’t very accepting and started hunting, killing, and keeping some as pets.” Rosalie made a horrified look on her face. “I know, it’s terrible.” I cupped her cheek and kissed it.

“The gods, who created us, help make a world just for us, Bergarian. It was made so we could get away and live in peace without humans trying to be destructive. There is a portal on the other side of the country where we can enter and it is basically like another world. We call it a realm.” Rosalie’s eyes got really big and a big smile was plastered on her face.

“It sounds so magical!”

“It really is. I couldn’t explain to you half of the things that are in that realm. There are things there similar like Earth but a lot of the plant life, the way of life is almost unearthly, more heavenly. Right now there is a span of peace there where there isn’t any fighting and people are really changing their ways not hurting one another. There is to be a new king and queen of the shifters soon and it will mark a new era.”

“Then why do you stay here? On Earth? Why doesn’t everyone live there?”

“Well, some mates live here on Earth. Everyone gets a feeling they should go somewhere, usually the supernaturals. It is like a pull. I’ve always had a pull to stay here on Earth and look, I’ve found you.” I motioned to her while she smiled at me. I was also born here so I always thought it was because of that but, maybe it really was because of you.” I rubbed my nose with hers.

“Many Wolves like Earth, it’s more private, less political in terms of supernaturals. Things here are more wild and primitive. Some Wolves like it that way. It is almost like this is the country compared to the big city of Bergarian with so many different supernatural kingdoms such as Vamparia, the Vampire kingdom, Moon Kingdom for the shifters and the Fae Kingdom or ‘Light Kingdom,’ as they call it. Here we just make our own rules like it is a territory not a country. Rosalie nodded her head in understanding.

“I like it here so much, I couldn’t imagine moving somewhere else. I am excited to visit new places though. Why do you want to take me there if you like it here so much?

“My parents retired and decided to settle down in a pack called Blue Waters. It’s close to the ocean, really relaxing and a very peaceful pack. They’ve lived there for a while and enjoy it. I thought I could take you there and surprise them with you.” I gave off a big smile but Rosalie’s smile faltered. “What’s wrong, Kitten?” I grazed her cheek with my thumb.

“What if they don’t like me?” Sampson growled and made Rosalie jump.

“Werewolves are different, if you are my true mate then they will automatically like you.” She gave me a smile and snuggled up in my chest.

Her meeting my parents wasn’t the only thing I was taking her there for, but for a whole other reason. She was just marked and went through heat all in the same week. I know she wants to become a Werewolf like me but I’d never had any first-hand experience with it, I just want her safe. I’ve already contacted different doctors who have had experience in it from long ago, before the human ban in Bergarian.

There was a group of human settlers that came through the portal thousands of years ago and many supernaturals captured them and used them as slaves, forced mates, b***d bags and s*x slaves so after the Rogue War, King Emelio and Queen Estar had all humans removed until they could find a way to have peace with all the kingdoms.

Finding peace was hard, Vamparia decided to have themselves reclusive and rumors of King Drago beating his subjects and killing them on the spot were going around. There was no way of swaying him unless the Moon Kingdom had a full out war, which they weren’t prepared for after the War of the Rogues. Luckily, the long lost princess of the Moon Kingdom, Sabrina, was found and was able to replace King Drago with Diana and her Werewolf mate, Nathan. In a span of a month she had peace treaties established and now humans that were mated with supernaturals and still getting to know their mates were allowed back into Bergarian.

Now I could take Rosalie and see a professional, especially since she has had so many branding bonds that had been attempted to be placed on her.

After both of us taking a quick shower and putting on our comfortable clothes, we went downstairs to watch a movie. Correction, we tried to watch a movie. I was laying on the couch and Rosalie was laying on top of me curled up with her new favorite large fluffy blanket. She was fast asleep with her head in the crook of my neck.

I started flipping through the channels and smelled Keith standing in the doorway. “Don’t be a f*****g creep, come on in.” Keith scoffed and sat down while Claire sat on his lap and cuddled into him.

“You are going to take her to see your parents huh?” Keith gave a smirk. Claire continued to watch the TV that was currently playing The Godfather.

“Yeah, and I’m taking her to see one of the shifter physicians about her becoming a Wolf. I’ve never seen a human transform and I’m worried about her.”

“s**t, you worry too much. The Moon Goddess wouldn’t pair you both up for it to mess up now.” Rosalie stirred but I put my hand on her back and rubbed her so she would go back to sleep.

“You are talking damn loud, don’t wake her up,” I half whispered, half yelled. Claire smiled and did a small squeal.

“You both are so sweet it almost makes me sick!” she giggled wildly. “I’m so glad you found her, she’s so good to you, Alpha. I’ll do my best to help her as much as I can.” Claire looked at Rosalie admirably. “I wish she didn’t have to go through all she did but it did make her strong, didn’t it Keith?” Keith nodded and looked up at me while he had his arm around Claire on the large, cushioned chair they were sitting in.

“Jack, there is something we need to talk about.” I looked at him to continue, I couldn’t get up while Rosalie was sleeping, I didn’t want my precious mate to be uncomfortable either. Damn I’m whipped. “Anana is nowhere to be found, Sorceress Bodhi cannot locate her whereabouts. With the bounty on her head, I doubt she went back to Bergarian and she is here somewhere. I don’t know if she is going to go after Rosalie or not. With Derek out of the picture she may just bow out. It seemed like she wanted to punish Derek more by having him unnecessarily hurting Lee. Then again, no one knows her motives, she is just pure evil,” Keith said with disgust.

“She’s gone crazy,” Claire spoke up. “When her mate rejected her she went straight mad. Her twin that she shared a mate with stayed with him. Anana was the product of a Demon and a Witch mate pairing and they were identical in looks but their magic was split. Her sister is Ariande and she has light magic while Anana has dark. She couldn’t control it and was sometimes mean and cheated on their shared mate who is a warlock. He rejected her because she was causing him too much pain.”

“Must have been dropped on her head as a baby or something,” Keith choked a laugh. Claire gave him an evil eye while he slithered back down in his seat. Ha, p***y.

“That’s what I know, from what my sister in Bergarian said. Anana made a big mess with other people there and is no longer welcome. Hades is looking for her too so you know that is a big deal.”

Hades deals with the big time crimes and puts them in a special cell and feeds off their powers to make his power grow. If Hades wants her, it is only a matter of time before he gets her.

“I’ll keep that in mind while we are down there. Rosalie will never be alone.” I squeezed her tighter to me and she started to subconsciously kissing my neck. I started groaning and Keith and Claire were holding in their laughter. “f**k,” I whispered.

“Keith, come on before he busts a nut. I can’t see my Alpha like that,” she started pulling on Keith to get up but he just stayed there.

“Nah, I wanna see what happens,” he put both hands behind his head to watch and Rosalie continued to suck then nibble on my neck.” Trying to hold it in, I couldn’t anymore and sat up with her and trying to hold my boner in.

“What’s going on?” Rosalie rubbed her eyes and looked at me. “Oh sorry, I fell asleep,” she looked at me sleepily. “Hey guys! What are you guys doing?” Looking around she saw an amused Kieth and a worried Claire.

“Have any good dreams there, Lee?” he snickered.

“Uh… I guess?” She looked confused, then she looked at my neck and her eyes got large. “What happened to your neck??”

“Uhhhh, shit.” I mumbled and Keith started laughing loud enough for the whole house to hear.

Rosalie

Claire and Amanda helped me pack up my bags for Jack and I’s big trip to Bergarian. I was so excited. I had never been on vacation in my entire life and here I was, about to go to a whole new world of things humans never got to see.

“I’m so jealous,” Claire said. “I haven’t visited some of my family in ages. I’d love to go to the Blue Water’s pack too. They are near the ocean and I heard there are actual mermaids or sirens there!”

My eyes grew big. “Really?” I squealed. “I would love to see one! I hope I can take pictures!”

“Oh no, you can’t,” Amanda said sadly. “Bergarian is a pure place. They have limited technology, well for traveling for sure, there are no cars or gas guzzling machines. You can’t take pictures and bring them out of Bergarian. They don’t want any chance of exposure. There is Internet of course, that is how most of us communicate now that humans have discovered all that. No more burning letters by some magical fire,” Amanda laughed.

“Wow, this seems like so much.” I was feeling overwhelmed at this point. I knew about Werewolves and Vampires but the whole concept of another world was almost daunting. From what Jack said there aren’t many humans over there right now, will everyone know I am one?

“You are overthinking things, don’t worry about it,” Amanda patted my back as Claire slung my suitcase off the bed. “They will love you there, especially since you are a Luna. You will be treated like a princess while in the Blue Water Pack. I think Jack’s dad takes over for the Alpha sometimes when he needs a break. Blue Water’s Beta is still learning since he is a bit inexperienced.” I nodded my head not really understanding anything that was going on.

Benjamin came into the room with a black suit case. “Ready to go?!” he said excitedly.

“You are coming too?!” I jumped up and gave him a hug. “Of course, I can’t leave my sis for too long. Plus, Alpha said he needed a personalized warrior for you and I was up for the challenge!” Benjamin pounded his chest with one hand and looked up at the corner of the room.

“My hero!” I fake swooned as soon as Jack walked in the room.

“I thought I was your hero,” Jack gave a hurt look. I ran up to him and jumped in his arms. “You are my Alpha and my prince charming; I think you trump hero by a long shot.”

We both heard a bunch of people say ‘ewww’ and ‘gross,’ but I didn’t care. Benjamin looked at the ground and kicked some invisible rocks. “So being a hero isn’t that great huh?” We all started laughing and Jack and Benjamin grabbed our suitcases.
