Half Faced Alpha -
Chapter 19
"Fall in love with me.....
Alpha Axton took in a deep breath as his lashes fluttered open.
"Natalia..." She was running, her wild blonde hair in beautiful seductive curls that bounded off her back with each step she took. "And I'll show you..."
"Natalia, wait..." He took another deep breath, and extended his hand. He felt a hand clasp over his, but when he saw her, she was still running away. Running away from him in a field of sun flowers. Her lips carrying a beautiful smile but her eyes glistening with "Natalia! Natalia, wait."
tears.
"I'll show you all the things that life has to offer..."
"Natalia!" He woke up with a start, his heart pounding in his chest.
"Axton! You are awake. You are awake. Thank goodness." Some sentences are incomplete if you are not reading this novel on FindNovel.net. Visit FindNovel.net to read the complete chapters for free. Natalia wrapped her hands around his neck, pushing his head into her chest, her hands rubbing his back.
"What happened?" He asked, a little dazed. The dreams had been so real, He really thought she was leaving.
"You fell. Why did you not tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
"That you were sick, Axton. Half of your body..."
He leaned away from her, and looked down at his now shirtless form, then looked up at her again.
"You...stripped me?" He asked, the nonchalance in his face masking the embarrassment he felt.
"No, I did not. Just...just your shirt." She was too concerned to feel embarrassed and she watched him, wide eyed.
That was a difference for him, between her seeing him shirtless and her actually removing it on him.
"I hmm...where is Beta Scott?"
"He said he would stand guard outside. You want me to get him for you?"
He shook his head, drawing the sheets to his shoulders.
She suddenly held the sheets and dragged it down, to his waist. "You should not cover up. You have a fever, and covering up will only make it worse."
"Do you not feel at least, a little strange sitting here looking at me like this?" His words were spaced, his eyes squinted.
She looked down at him, then back to his face. "No."
He nodded, his eyes falling on her reddened cheeks. "Is that so?"
"Well, yes. Why would I feel strange?" She looked away from him to her nails.
“།
I guess so. Why would you feel strange? But..." He chuckled a little, his eyes glistening with mischief. "What if I want you to feel a little strange?"
Before she could say a word, he held her wrist and pulled her to him, so she was lying on his shirtless form, her hair sprawled on his body. "What...What are you...?"
"I am wondering if you feel a little strange now." He chuckled, as his other hand went up her waist and pulled her further to him, his smile growing. "Axton!"
"Feeling a little strange now?" He asked, feeling a little more than strange himself.
She was looking up to him, her blue eyes meeting his blood red ones.
"I should have figured out that a human can not look like this."
He smiled. "Are you accepting me?"
"You are a werewolf. You can not help it." Her hands reached up to his cheek. "I want to believe you are part of the good ones."
His body stiffened under her. He was not part of those good ones. He was part of the very worst.
He gave her a smile as he started to lean away but she held him back.
"Why does it bother you when I get close?" Her voice was low as her eyes darted across his own.
"Already forgotten about...losing control?" He was dabbling in waters he wasn't ready to explore yet. The waters of this mate bond, the waters of this maddening attraction he felt for her. "Already forgotten about... Wanting you to lose control?"
He looked at her. "No. I am sick right now."
She laughed, then lifted her head to him, placing a small, yet extremely dangerous kiss on his forehead.
He closed his eyes as he did, fighting against his own instincts.
She kissed his closed eyelids, then his straight roman nose.
"Alpha?"
His eyes opened immediately as he heard Beta Scott's voice. He looked over Natalia's shoulder to the rather stunned beta.
"Yes?"
Natalia giggled, then placed the last one on the corner of his lips.
"One day, Axton." She whispered then sat back on her chair, her face set in a mischievous dare devil smirk.
"Miss, Can I talk to the alpha alone?"
She nodded, and graciously bowed, before leaving. She got to the door, made a little dramatic swirl, and then gave Axton a small wink.
"Wow." Beta Scott remarked, then turned to Alpha Axton. His distracted gaze was still very focused on the door even though she was not there anymore.
"Alpha..." No response. "Alpha?"
"I can hear you, Beta." He took a deep breath, fighting the instinct to draw his lips in, and turned to Beta Scott.
"I have a few things to tell you. I do hope you have gotten better, though. Miss Natalia was very worried and kept...assaulting you all over while you were unconscious and fervently praying.." He cleared his throat and looked away. "What do you mean by assaulting me?"
Beta Scott smiled. "Well...just like she did now."
Alpha Axton pursed his lips. "Turn around, Beta."
Beta Scott nodded and turned around.
Alpha Axton took a deep breath as he let the smile that had been fighting his way up to his face finally takes it rightful place.
"Turn around now."
Beta Scott turned, carrying a small smile of his own.
"It is all so sweet right now, but...Alpha. There is something you need to know."
"What is it?"
"Tonight..."
"Tonight is the another day, right? I slept through the ceremony night?"
Beta Scott nodded. "Tonight, is the night of a lunar eclipse. The seer has informed me. It is normally not too much of a concern, but..miss is here. The wolves will go savage tonight, and...she might be in danger. They are bound to smell her." Alpha Axton nodded. "Escort her to the room. You know where that is, right?"
Beta Scott nodded. "Will she take it well?"
"I will convince her. You can go now if there is nothing else."
Beta Scott nodded and walked out of the room.
