Chapter 3

Her father knew, her father knew that she had entered the alpha’s room but the alpha had not told him, he wanted to but did not. Gea’s father thought that maybe the ring on her finger would help the alpha not realize she was his mate, there was something more to it, her father sensed it but was afraid to find out what.

When they found Gea she was so small, something so small that she managed to steal the love of two wolves, that little girl came as a blessing to them, life rewards you when you carry it well.

They had Jake with great difficulty, both tried to have another baby and it was impossible until she appeared, like a needle in a haystack.

–What’s the matter? –asked his wife at his side.

–Nothing, Alice,” he answered with a smile.

That couple had gone to a witch friend of theirs years ago, the reason was simple, the little girl had arrived with a ring in her blanket which was a bit strange. When they discovered what it was both were surprised, that ring would serve to protect her from those bad things that could come, it hid her from the world, it had her covered and if at some point she took it off the danger would come and she would see new things.

When she was a little girl they found out that she was the alpha’s mate, the ring hid everything that could be different about her. Her father saw the attitude of a small alpha towards a baby girl only a few months old, she was his mate, the woman chosen for him, only for him, he knew it was wrong to take that away from a wolf but it was the best option.

Gea couldn’t carry that ring on her fingers so for the first moments of her growth she wore it attached to a necklace. It was the best thing to do. She had to protect her little girl.

–Darwin’s voice was heard once again, his whole body ached, he felt like a big bookcase had fallen on him.

-This was Gray’s turn, they were both looking down, staring into each other’s eyes as she wished the floor was her bed right now.

–I’m seeing double,” she said as she opened her eyes and looked up at them.

–We’re not that alike, don’t exaggerate,” Darwin said as his brother held out his hand for her to get up from the floor.

–Could we rest for a moment,” they both denied at the same time.

–Just one more hour, then we have to get ready for the party,” the party, what a shitty thing to say. I wanted to go, no doubt.

She wanted to go to the party, but the pain in her body would not let her get out of bed.

-I don’t want to go to the party,” she blurted out, the two brothers’ looks collided in surprise, Gea had never refused to any celebration of the herd.

-Don’t exaggerate, we haven’t trained hardly anything, you’re lazy. -Said the delta jokingly, earning a look from her, it was not an angry look but a look of embarrassment with a bit of pain in it.

-Let’s go on.

Several minutes passed in which she reached the floor, the other warriors who were training looked at her with a bit of mockery that was not evil, they liked the desire she was putting into training but for her it was not enough.

-Let’s try something face to face, right? Darwin consulted.

He took Gea by the waist taking her a little bit out of place but he didn’t distract her completely, both were facing each other and he was guiding her to do some things to dodge a blow coming from the front.

-She did it, she did it, she did each thing they told her to do, she did it again, she lowered her body to dodge Darwin’s blow, she moved part of her body, she used her arms, again and again and again and again and again and again and again, until she did it and jumped into his arms in an act of joy.

She smiled openly, she felt happy, this was a breakthrough. She heard Gray say, “I want a hug too,” She pulled away from Darwin and went into Gray’s arms.

Darwin and Gray, beta and delta of the Fores pack, both were the brothers Clarisse and Eros never had, twins. Identical. Very identical. The two of them were chosen by Eros after their parents left the pack, they were the perfect trio, inseparable and unstoppable.

-Can I be hugged too? –His voice. His f*****g voice.

-Brother -Gray walked up to Eros greeting him. “Brother.”

Gea felt uncomfortable and nervous, her heart began to pound and beat frantically, why are you like this? She wanted to ask herself, she wanted to run away from the place and hide like a little girl, to minimize herself and become the smallest thing there could be on the face of the earth.

-She is doing very well, she has fallen more than expected but she has done very well,” Darwin said, Eros looked at her attentively while she felt his heavy gaze, his intense eyes penetrating her being, seeing through her.

-I don’t doubt it, it’s Gea -He said her name as if it was something forbidden but what did he want, f*****g alpha.

Her gaze remained on the ground, not looking at anyone, not around her, not to her sides and much less to those who were in front of her.

-So… Will you give me my hug or not? -Eros insisted, she denied and walked towards the front to go home.

-You’re scaring her, Eros,” she heard one of the two next to her say, she cursed herself internally wanting the earth to open up at that moment.

-She couldn’t believe it, she wanted to fly at that moment, why didn’t an angel descend and take her away? She wouldn’t stop, no way would she.

-Hey, Jake! –Her brother was in front of her, she ran to him and when she reached his side she felt at peace, as if she was sure that nothing bad would happen.

-What’s wrong, Gea? Getting weirder and weirder,” Her brother blurted out, her hand that was on his arm quickly moved away, she tried to walk home again but apparently it would be impossible. Of course it would be.

A big white wolf with black touches was in front of her, he was twice her size and she knew at that moment he was the alpha, she dared to look around to realize so everyone was in a submissive position, they were showing respect to their alpha something she didn’t do.

-I’m sorry, I… I will serve any punishment—she said quickly and nervously.

‘Don’t scare her anymore Eros’ Gray’s voice through the pack liaison managed to steal a mischievous smile, something that Gea saw in front of him and scared her a little more, she felt like crying, he was going to kill her, he would kill her.

-You disobeyed me in front of the herd? and you have the courage to speak to me and look at my face? Insolent! -His voice came out loud, he knew he was out of line but somehow or other he wanted to get some other reaction from her than fear.

-I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry alpha,” she said repeatedly nervous, her hands were shaking and her heart was racing.

-You have no respect for the pack, you fight weakly, do you think you can be useful if you don’t even obey your alpha? –His words went straight to the thorn in her heart.

-I am not a wolf! -She shouted in the room, he looked at her fascinated, is he crazy? She wanted to ask out loud, he was flashing a smile full of fascination. F*****g a*****e.

-Give me the hug I asked for, come on, now -The girl wouldn’t refuse, could she dare? No, no way. -Complain to your alpha.

She walked up to him but he didn’t let her get completely to his body, he pulled her against the wall looking at her attentively, he smelled her neck looking for a scent but he didn’t get anything, not being able to do that gave him a headache.

-I’m sweaty, move away,” she said.

-Now you tell me what to do, Gea? -He asked with his gaze still on her face, “Look at me,” he ordered her. She did it immediately.

-I…

-Didn’t you know? –He asked interrupting her with his gaze on her lips, looking at her eyes, looking at her little spots on her face, looking at her perfect f*****g face.

-What? -She questioned his question looking at him in the same way.
