Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life -
Chapter 1140
"Daddy, you have to get back at them for me, you just have to!" Jenna screamed, her body too weak to move, as tears of blood trickled down from her fiery eyes. Davis's heart ached even more, and he gently comforted her, "Alright, sweetheart, don't worry. I'll find whoever did this to you, and they'll regret it tenfold."
Hearing this, Jenna settled down a little, but her emotions were still running high. "What about Flora? Bring her to me."
Davis felt a burning rage inside him, wishing he could tear Flora apart for hurting his precious daughter like this. He was determined to make Flora experience the torment of wanting to die but being unable to.
Now, Davis was dead set on revenge. Not only did he want Flora to pay for her deeds, but he also had his sights set on the Irving family backing her. If they'd raised such a ruthless daughter, they had to be just as rotten! "What are you all standing around for? Go get her now!" Davis barked at the bodyguards. On his orders, they rushed out to capture Flora.
Sitting beside Jenna's bed, Davis gently reassured her, "Jenna, don't worry. I'll make sure Flora is brought here, and you can decide how to handle her. She'll be right here, kneeling at your bedside."
"I want her dead!" Jenna's eyes were full of hate.
Davis gently tucked her in, but suddenly the door flew open. The bodyguards who had just left came rushing back in, panic etched on their faces.
Davis frowned. Why were they back so soon? Where was Flora?
"Mr. Davis!" one of the bodyguards blurted out before Davis could speak. "The Old Master is here!"
The bodyguard's voice was shaky.
"Who did you say?!" Davis shot up from his seat.
The "Old Master" was a senior figure in Davis's family-Uncle Nathan. By family tradition, Davis had to call him Uncle, though he was actually the second son of Nathan's cousin. Nathan and Davis weren't
particularly close, only seeing each other on holidays and such.
"Are you sure you didn't make a mistake?" Davis asked, trying to keep his cool. Nathan showing up here seemed unlikely.
"No, Mr. Davis... It really is the Old Master!" the bodyguard confirmed, just as the sound of steady footsteps approached.
Davis instinctively turned towards the door, his legs feeling weak as he saw the group of people coming in, led by Nathan himself.
"Uncle, what brings you here?" Davis quickly went to greet him, feeling a bit uneasy. His own background wasn't the most respected in the Neville family, and Nathan didn't particularly warm to him.
"With such a big incident, I had to come see for myself," Nathan replied coolly.
Davis was taken aback. "Uncle, did you come because of what happened to Jenna?"
He hadn't really expected Nathan to come for Jenna's sake, but it seemed like the only explanation for his sudden visit to the medical base. Maybe Nathan thought Jenna's injury at the hands of someone from Austenberg was a blemish on the Neville family's honor, prompting his visit?
Jenna, too, was surprised. She never imagined Nathan would come personally because of her. With
Nathan's involvement, not just Flora but also Selene and those
Austenberg folks would surel.get
kicked out of the medical base.

Nathan noticed their expressions and let out a cold chuckle, "I heard you were planning to grab someone. Who is it you're after?"
