Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life -
Chapter 1135
Kylie melted into the crowd, her eyes glued to the drama playing out, every fiber of her being buzzing with excitement. It was like she could already envision Flora's downfall. The bodyguards, truth be told, weren't eager to rough up a young woman. But Jenna's orders were clear. The lead bodyguard moved towards Flora, exuding a menacing aura. "Flora..." Luiz's voice wavered with worry. He knew Flora was tough, but against so many bodyguards... He was scared for her, already calculating how far they could get if they made a run for it.
Flora, however, just smirked as the bodyguards approached, casually rubbing her wrists. Her eyes danced with a mischievous glint. It had been ages since she'd had a decent fight. Here was her chance to square off against some real competition.
Seeing Flora smile only made Jenna angrier. She instinctively reached for her gun, then cursed under her breath, remembering she'd left it behind. Frustrated, she yelled, "Grab her! Now!"
Right then, cutting through the tension, a mocking laugh echoed. "Think you can seize Ms. Flora? You think you're up to it?"
Flora paused, a flicker of annoyance on her face. Of all times, why now? She was just getting ready to have some fun.
Jenna's eyes narrowed, scanning for the voice that dared to defy her. She spotted two imposing figures pushing through the crowd, their presence intimidating and commanding respect. It was Moss and Beck.
"Ms. Flora!" they called out, halting in front of her with respectful nods. Flora gave a lazy nod back, "Hmm."
The crowd buzzed with surprise. Were these her bodyguards? Kylie frowned, perplexed. Moss and Beck carried themselves with an air of authority, calling Flora "Ms. Flora." Wasn't Flora from Austenberg? Only the elite had personal bodyguards here. And where did these two come from?
"Ms. Flora, have a seat!" Beckst pulling out a folding stool from seemingly nowhere and setting it
I ut a folding stool from
her. Anything to keep Ms.
Flora comfortable.
Flora glanced at Beck, impressed, and took a seat. This guy was sharp. Moss, meanwhile, averted his gaze, staying vigilant.
Beck, still rubbing his wrists, challenged Jenna and her crew. "You think you can touch Ms. Flora? You must be kidding."
Jenna's face flushed with anger. Flora had secret protectors? How had she snuck them in? But even with protectors, it was two against many.
The bodyguards eyed Moss and Beck, realizing these two were no ordinary foes. Their instincts screamed danger-these two were way above their league.
"Let's handle this together," Beck cracked his neck, looking at the bodyguards with disdain. Let's finish this fast, so Ms. Flora doesn't have to wait. "Cocky!"
The bodyguards, despite their numbers, felt a sting of anger at Beck's confidence. All of them, then? Fine. They'd swarm him, teach him a lesson.
Two minutes later, the bodyguards
were sprawled on the ground, defeated. Beck grinned, "Now you know who you're messing with." He turned to Flora, clearly fishing for some praise. But Flora just gave him a bland look, not a hint of admiration in her eyes.
