The Fox Palace near the river was Connor's high-level business, one that focused on underwater cuisines.

Fox Palace was a legend in this city. Though many people knew about it, not that many could actually get in. only the ones who stood on the top of the food chain could be the guests in there. Those ones inside now were shocked at what they were looking at.

Connor was humbly leading the way for a normal young man.

That young man was Maximilian.

One of his man made a mess and got Mitchele killed in the halfway. Connor specifically held an event to apologize for this.

Soon, these guests were all talking about Maximilian and asking about his information. However, nobody could give out any other information bout him, in which surprised them even more.

Int the rooms on the second floor, several rich young men were also talking about Maximilian.

Sitting on the side of these men were several young and pretty female students, while in the corner, there was a girl shrinking herself into a ball, looking all poor and scared.

"He must be someone important to receive such a treatment from Connor. Should we go meet him?"

"Meet him? It shouldn't be that easy. We probably wouldn't have a chance to meet someone who deserves Connor's flattering."

"There is always a possibility. We gotta try it. It would be beneficial to meet someone like this." A girl thought for a while, then looked at the girl in the corner, "The best weapon against men is women. How do you think about Nevaeh? She is the prettiest girl in the school, and she is a virgin who never had a boyfriend."

Tate went up to her and pulled her up with an evil smile, then pushed her outside of the room, "Nevaeh, I gave you the chance. You made Gardner upset today, and I might get in trouble too, so fix this! Or wait for your death." Tate shut the door heavily.

Nevaeh leaned on the wall and cried with mouth covering on it. She felt so helpless and wished there would be a hero coming to save her.

Connor's voice came from the hallway, "Mr. Maximilian, all these decorations were by the hands of Fengshui masters."

Since the decorations in Fox Palace were very delicate and charming, they chose to walk around instead of taking the elevator. Now, Connor was introducing for Maximilian. Nevaeh found the man walking with Connor so familiar.

Did she have hallucinations? Maybe she saw the wrong guy with all those tears in eyes.

Nevaeh hurriedly wiped off tears in her eyes.

Maximilian also spotted Nevaeh, "Connor, I saw a friend. Let's go say hi."

"Oh? Let's go then. Is it the one crying?" Connor frowned, feeling unsettled.

If this was Maximilian's friend, what if she caused some messes in here?

Connor shivered. He dared not to continue the thoughts, "Mr. Maximilian, it seems like your friend was...bullied, I'll go check it right now. I'll handle it well."

Nevaeh heard their conversations. She looked up at Maximilian. He looked just like a hero coming down from the heaven in a horse. He was even more handsome than a prince.

All her fascinations about love got satisfied by Maximilian in this moment.

Maximilian walked up to Nevaeh and said lightly, "Why are you crying here? What happened?"

"Waaaa..." Nevaeh could not hold her crying anymore. She hugged Maximilian tightly and started crying loudly, letting her tears wet Maximilian's shirt.

Maximilian looked at Connor speechlessly, "Go find a place to sit. She is not stopping crying for a while."

Sitting in the most luxurious room, Maximilian handed tissue to Nevaeh, "Clean your tears. Tell me about what happened. I'll take care of it."
