Chapter 1007 A Master's Failing

"You should think twice. You can never be my match in that game." The woman said. She seemed very confident.

Maximilian smiled and said, "I hardly think so."

Just by then, Cheating-goddess suddenly exposed her thighs to try to fascinate Maximilian. Everybody else was attracted by the slender thighs. They had never seen any thighs that were as fair as these two. They couldn't take their eyes away from there. The two legs were like holy pillars standing there. They would regret it if they missed the chance to take a good look.

The woman had confidence in herself. She did this mainly to disrupt Maximilian mentally and distract him.

She looked at Maximilian, but what happened next was totally out of her expectation. She was so confused that Maximilian hadn't been tempted at all.

This was one of her trump cards, and she couldn't believe Maximilian didn't even take a second look at her. She wondering if the guy had no interest in women at all.

Or she found it hard to imagine how firm his mind was not to be influenced by her.

Maximilian said calmly, "You won't be my match, I suggest you calm down."

The woman smiled and said, "I didn't expect you to have such strong willpower."

Maximilian sneered. This might work on other people, but it carried no effects on him.

Maximilian knew his own strength. The woman was so weak compared to him. He was ready to face whatever she would bring.

He had seen enough beautiful women, such as Victoria and her friends. Women like this one? she wouldn't even bother to look twice.

The woman was still trying to figure out what was going on. She thought she could fascinating everyone, but that seemed to have carried little weight on Maximilian.

She thought maybe it was about his sexual orientation, or it was impossible for a man not to fall for her after seeing her.

Maximilian picked some cards and said, "It's your turn."

The woman was discouraged when her little tricks ended up in vain.

When they put their cards on the table, all the onlookers were surprised. The numbers were both extremely big, but the woman's number was a bit smaller than Maximilian's. Maximilian raised his head and said, "It looks like your tricks had no impact on me. I think you should behave yourself and be honest."

The woman was so annoyed because she had never lost once before.

To save his sister's face, Cheating-master said, "My sister just let him win deliberately so that he could have fun."

Some of those people actually believed it. After all, no matter how skillful Maximilian was, he was just an amateur, while Cheating-master did this to make a living.

The woman knew this wouldn't work. So she decided to play what she was best at. She suggested that they had three cards issued, and bet on the high cards.

"I dare you to play that with me." She tried to provoke Maximilian.

Maximilian smiled, "Why wouldn't I dare? I'm afraid you'll be the one who quit first."

The woman then had a bad feeling about this. She seemed to have read the indication behind Maximilian's words. The man was mysterious. Things had gone far different from what she thought. She wondered how would this end.

She also wanted to know what had made the young man so good at this. Gradually, she was losing confidence.

She took a deep breath. She was smart enough to realize that she might have a serious problem now, which might go beyond her imagination.

She decides to teach him a lesson, and she let the dealer deal.

People couldn't wait to see the game when the deal started to move. They two were surprisingly interesting, and they felt so thrilled to watch this tremendous show.

The woman was a bit nervous, because she had never been in the same situation before.

Cheating-master was nervous, too. He knew his sister would never show any mercy. Now that she had lost once today, he had the reason to believe that Maximilian was an extraordinary man.

He felt glad that he stopped the game with Maximilian, otherwise, he would've ended up with an ugly loss.

Cheating-goddess mocked Maximilian, "You impressed me, but that doesn't make you a worthy opponent of mine."

"I don't think so." Maximilian sneered.

Cheating-goddess was trying to distract Maximilian using psychological methods, but Maximilian looked so calm and peaceful. He seemed not to have been influenced at all.

She felt so depressed because she never thought he was so good at this.

"It looks like I've underestimated you. You're better than my brother." Cheating-goddess snorted. She was trying to convince herself that she could beat him this time.

When they flip over their cars, they all had straight flushes. They looked into each other's eyes at the same time, with the same astonishment.

This was a very rare situation. Few people had seen it before.

However, Cheating-goddess laughed out when she saw Maximilian's first two cards were a jack and a king.

The last card should be a high one. Maximilian could only defeat her if his last card is a queen.

Cheating-goddess was optimistic. She thought this was impossible. She put all her cards on the table instantly because she thought she had already won.

The onlookers were shocked when they saw Cheating-goddess' straight flush. They finally believed that she wouldn't lose to Maximilian again, and they believe she lost to him the first time because she deliberately did so.

Maximilian didn't say anything. He wanted to make this game as exciting and dramatic as he could. At last, he put his cards on the table, and exposed a queen.

Those people were all stunned. They knew Maximilian could win with a queen, but they never thought that he actually had this card. They wondered if he had cheated.

Everyone couldn't help but applaud him, cheering for the exciting game he had brought.

After Li Mo heard the applause, he laughed at those fools for being so late to catch on to the fact that he was sure to win.

Cheating-goddess gasped and couldn't accept the fact that she just lost the game again.

"Impressive." Cheating-goddess took a deep breath and her eyes looked so dull. It had taken her quite a while to process the fact that she just lost twice in a row, which was a great humiliation to her. It was a situation she had never imagined before.
