Anton's POV:

I watched from the bedroom door as she slept. So peaceful and unaware.

Her cellphone began vibrating on the table near by. Before it could disturb her sound sleep, I retrieved it and, of course, it just had to be that mingling sister of hers. I sent her calls to voicemail so she began texting. Big Sis: Hey Zen, I've got such amazing news.

Big Sis: Zen, please call me back. I keep on getting your voicemail.

Big Sis: Zen, call me ASAP!!

Big Sis: Well since you're not answering, I'm having TWINS!! The other one was hiding so we only found out yesterday.

I deleted the messages, switched off her phone and turned around to make certain she was still asleep. And she was. I left the bedroom with the phone in my pocket.

I, then, headed upstairs to my own bedroom and contacted the others who were in on this.

"Tell me that everything is going well," Maria began.

"We have a problem."

"What's the problem?"

"She's pregnant."

"WHAT?!" they asked in unison.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Madison let out.

"I'm not joking. We've already been to the doctor."

"This just sets everything back. I don't want to be apart of this anymore." Madison was already eager to back out.

"Madison would you shut up! Have you forgotten that this was also your idea so you can have EJ to yourself?" Maria asked her from her end of the phone.

I hated the three way.

"You guys, this could be for the better. When EJ finds out that he's got a kid on the line, he'll be willing to pay that money. We can raise the ransom to three billion dollars. One billion each for the three of us!" I tried to find that silver lining. "No! I said I want out. Now that there's a baby involved, I don't want to be a part of that." Madison pleaded again, and she was beginning to get on my last nerves.

"Mads, I already got Zenia in the house. You're in this whether you like it or not!"

"Exactly Madison! You're going to coward out when everything is already falling into place?" Maria asked.

"Besides, this minor set back is your damn fault, Madison!" I shouted.

"How the fuck is it my fault?"

"Because you couldn't get EJ to fall for you. Gosh, the guy was already proposing to Zenia within some months of being together. You've known him all your life and, yet and still, you can't even get his tongue down your throat!" "EJ doesn't think with his dick like most guys. He was brought up with sense!"

Madison would always defend him, even if she was getting insulted for it.

"Oh please, he's a guy," Maria said.

"And did he fall for it when you tried to woo him in his office?" Madison threw back.

Maria got silent.

"Anton, you don't know the Hollens like I do. I grew up with them and, believe me when I say this, they're not people to mess with. They don't take lightly to threats, and they won't sit back and let you hurt Zenia and the baby. "Evan is married to her sister, so Zenia is their family. Emma and Ethan would do anything to protect the family and, quite frankly, EJ still loves Zenia! They'll be on your ass like crocodiles at the watering hole, and I have no intention of getting snatched by them!"

Madison ended her call so I was left on the line with my other half-sister.

"Make sure that Madison keeps her big mouth shut. If she looks fragile, you know what to do," I stated.

"Are you telling me what I think you're telling me? Because I'm not going to hurt our sister over this Anton."

"Fragile objects breaks, and if she breaks then everything is going to waste, and if everything goes to waste, I'll make sure you end up six feet under like your insignificant mother!"

I hung up and went back downstairs. Getting to the main hallway, I bumped into my father.

"Hello son."

"Hi Father. I've got something to tell you." And, as if on cue, Zenia appeared next to me, sleep marks visible on her beautiful face.

"Who's this?" my father asked.

"This is my girlfriend, Zenia. Zenia, this is my father."

"It's so nice to meet you." She extended her hand. Dad studied her before shaking hands with her.

"And she's going to be staying with us for a bit," I added and wrapped my arm around her neck, drawing her closer to my chest.

Father nodded slowly, eyes scanning us to detect any tiny traces of lies.

"Can I speak to you?" he asked.

"Anything you have to say, you can say it in front of Zenia and me."

"So be it. Why wasn't I told about this earlier?"

"Because I decided at the last minute, and you weren't here, as usual, when we arrived!"

"And you brought your American girlfriend all this way because...?"

"She's pregnant with my baby. You're going to be a grandpa." I smirked as those words fell out of my lips.

Zenia brushed on my chest but stayed quiet.

Father's eyes furiously blazed, but I didn't care. I enjoyed getting under the old man's skin, and there was nothing he could do about it because, whenever I brought up my mother's name, he would turn cold, grow quiet and allow guilt to take over, so I used that as a weapon against him. A weapon that always got me my way instead of his.

He cheated on my mother with her sister, Marielle, many years ago. When the news hit, Marielle took off to the U.S. by herself. Later on, she found out she was pregnant-- pregnant with twins. She contacted my mother, begging for forgiveness and financial aid, but my mother turned her down. I was three at the time.

Dad promised to change and do right by my mother and by me. She held onto his every word, and she stayed like a fool. Dad never changed. He began banging his assistants at the office, the housekeepers and even my babysitters. When I turned eighteen, Mom filed for divorce and left for America when it had been finalized. For five years I had been traveling back-and-forth between the two countries. England was home, I couldn't just leave it, but I also loved my mother, and when it dawned on me that she was still hurting because of Marielle, I decided to do a little investigating of my own.

Sixteen years ago, Marielle had been married to a con accountant at a bank. He bought them a house among the rich and famous and, together, they brought up Madison and Maria. When they were five, inexplicable things began happening to Maria. Both girls were taken away, but Madison was given back to them for whatever reason.

When Madison turned eighteen, Marielle lost the house. The bank had evidence that Jerry, Marielle's husband, had been stealing money for years. He was slapped with lengthy jail time and the house had been repossessed as property of the bank.

Marielle moved out to Maine with Madison, embarrassed and ashamed. But it was more difficult on her when Madison started beating her.

Eventually, Madison moved back to The Heights and stayed with a neighbor who had been very keen on her since she was a kid. Madison called her 'Auntie.'

So, when I found out that my darling aunt was all alone, and had gone a bit insane because she was giving up on life, I decided to take her out of her misery. Tampering with the wheels of her car was the perfect crime, and I should actually thank her for giving me such a wonderful idea.

You see, Mom said, when I was a baby, Marielle would come over and, every time I started crying, she would sing me a song:

Don't you cry Anton, your aunt is here

Rocking you in this rocking chair

If you don't stop, I'll take you outside

We'll get in my car and go for a ride

We'll ride all day like a horse

We'll ride until the wheels fall off

Wheels fall off

Wheels fall off.
