Daddy's Little Whore
Daddy’s Little Whore – Part 133

KEIRA’s POV

The moment I stepped into the living room, I could feel the tension. Papa was seated on the sofa, his eyes already on me. From his expression, I could tell that he was not pleased. I exhaled, calming my racing heart, and walked over to the opposite sofa, plopping down on it.

Papa sighed, and I saw his expression slowly change to hurt and sadness.

“Ever since your mother died, I felt like I needed to try my best and raise you properly, but I guess I didn’t do a good job.”

My heart sank at his words. “It is not your fault Papa.”

He looked at me, and I flinched at his harsh gaze.

“Then tell me why you chose to go out with an older man who is also your therapist?” Papa asked, the volume of his voice rising.

“Because I love him, Papa.”

“That is nonsense! How can you love a man way older than you!” He yelled, startling me.

This was the first time I had seen Papa so mad, which scared me.

Papa clasped his hands together, exhaling as he kept his gaze on me.

“It seems like you do not understand the weight of your actions. From now on, Clint has been removed from the board of investors. He is no longer a part of this company.”

My eyes widened, and my chest tightened as I digested Papa’s words painfully.

“You…cut him off from the company? How did you do that? ” I asked softly, my voice trembling.

“Precisely. I bought all of Mr. Homer’s shares. He no longer has anything to do with me or the company. And now, you too.”

I could feel myself seething with rage and sadness, each emotion muddling inside me.

“But why Papa? Was it necessary to go that far? Clint and I are in love. You’re making it look like he committed a hideous crime!”

“But he did!” Papa retorted harshly. “He was in a relationship with you, a girl much younger than him. Someone who should have remained a client! Have you imagined how many female clients he has ‘been in love’ with?”

I bit my lips and bowed my head. Why was everyone judging our relationship? We’re only in love with each other.

“Now,” Papa spoke up. “You are coming with me to the next meeting, and I would need you to do something for me as well.”

I looked up at Papa, tears pricking the side of my eyes. “What is it, Papa?”

“You will tell our investors that Mr. Homer took advantage of you. This is necessary to keep them on our side.”

I froze at Papa’s words. “You want me to lie? accuse Clint of s****l and emotional abuse?” I squealed.

“Because you want a bunch of biased men who probably have a thousand skeletons of their name to stay on your side? To what end, Papa?”

“This lie, as you call it, is for the good of our company and, most importantly, to secure your position. We do not want the board members to think any less of you because of this scandal.”

The rage building up within me suddenly exploded. I clenched my fists at my side, my eyes burning with anger.

“I will do no such thing, Papa! I love Clint too much to betray him like that!” I yelled.

“I do not want to hear any of this love nonsense! You will adhere to my words, young lady!” Papa boomed.

I sunk back in my chair, feeling defeated.

Papa rose from the sofa and glared at me with anger ablaze in his eyes.

“From now on, I do not want you to meet Clint. And you will also stay in this house permanently. No more late-night outs. I have set a curfew for you for nine pm. It seems like I have been too lax on you.”

I gasped, my eyes snapping to Papa as I sprung up from the sofa. “You can’t do this to me, Papa! I am an adult. I love Clint, and you can’t keep me from him!” I yelled, tears burning my eyes and clouding my vision.

“My words are final, Keira! I do not want you arguing with me anymore!” He seethed.

I flinched, my heart sinking. Papa gave me one last look and walked away from the living room, disappearing into the corridor. I was filled with hurt and anger. Papa’s words had pierced me deeply.

I slumped down into the sofa, my head reeling with thoughts. I could not lie like Papa wanted me to, but it seemed like I had no choice. How would Clint feel if I told the investors he took advantage of me?

I pursed my lips as I imagined the disappointment on his face.

Just then, my phone rang, breaking me away from my overwhelming thoughts. I pulled it out of my bag and saw that it was Natasha. I hesitated for a moment before answering.

“Hey, Keira, how did the talk with your dad go?” she asked as soon as I picked up the call.

“It was bad,” I replied, my voice heavy with emotion. “My dad’s furious and won’t listen to me. He will not even let me see Clint.”

“I am so sorry, Keira. But right now, I think it is for the best.” Natasha said sympathetically. “How is Clint holding up? Have you heard from him?”

“No, I have not,” I replied, feeling a lump in my throat. “And I’m worried.”

“Maybe you should try calling him,” Natasha suggested. “Just to check up on him and make sure he is okay.”

“You are right,” I agreed. “I will call you back.”

I hung up and scrolled through my contacts, pulling up Clint’s number on my phone. I dialed it and waited anxiously for him to pick it up. But there was no answer. I tried again a few more times, but still, I was left waiting for a response.

My heart began to race, and my mind began to wander. Why wasn’t he picking up my calls? Was he okay?

I rose from the couch and began pacing around as I dialed Natasha’s number.

“He is not answering,” I told Natasha, my voice shaking. “I do not know what to do.”

“It is okay, Keira,” Natasha said soothingly. “Maybe he is not close to his phone at the moment. Or he might be busy with something. Do not worry too much about it. You did your best.”

“Okay,” I said and hung up the phone after we exchanged a few more words.

But I could not shake off the unease lingering in my chest. Clint had always been there for me, and he was never busy when it came to me. Never. I did not know what was going on, but I could not help but feel like something was wrong.

Papa had told me to stay away from Clint, but there was no way I would adhere to his words. I was going to see Clint, and I was going to see him right now.
