"I didn't come here willingly. This is our home, Trenton. Our home. That blind woman seized our family assets while I wasn't here. She drove me out as soon as I got out and our parents went to jail. She won't let me come back.

"Almost all the workers in the house have been replaced by her. Those who haven't been replaced are the ones who dared not defy her."

Carrie complained more, "Do you think I wanted to come here and make a fuss early in the morning? That mole rat wouldn't answer my calls or return my messages. I've been infuriated since last night, and as soon as the sun's up, I came here to settle the score.

"Has she not woken up yet?" she asked softly as she walked in after Trenton opened the gate, but stopped after a few steps, afraid to rush in.

Trenton replied, "Camryn's not up yet. Callum is up and making breakfast inside. Carrie, please don't keep mentioning the fact that she's blind. She is still our elder sister."

"You consider her your sister, but she wants to take over our family's properties."

Carrie was intimidated upon hearing that Callum was inside, so she did not dare to enter the house.

Despite her fierce approach earlier, she was now so timid that she had forgotten her intentions of trying to seduce Callum and snatch him away from Camryn.

"Trenton, let's go sit at the gazebo over there. I'm not going inside. That mole rat is so lucky; I don't know how she's managed to keep Callum doting on her. Callum treats her very well, but he's been heartless toward us.

"I am a bit afraid of them. Trenton, we're from the same bloodline, and in this situation, we need to unite and protect the family assets left to us by our parents. We absolutely cannot let Camryn take over." Carrie pulled Trenton to sit at a nearby gazebo.

"Trenton, I rushed here, and I haven't had breakfast yet. Would you please go inside and get some snacks and fruits to fill my stomach? Also, do you have any money? Give me some cash. Whatever you have just give it to me. Right now, I'm living outside and everything needs money.

"I do not have any income as I'm unemployed. That blind murderer even went on to freeze my bank card, totally restricting me from spending. Almost didn't have enough money to even fuel the car." Carrie confided her misfortunes to her brother, continuously cursing Camryn for being ruthless and cruel.

"Carrie."

Trenton solemnly chided, "Look, Camryn has a share in this house. In fact, the entire villa is given to her by Uncle Abel. Camryn even told me that you have seen the name on the deed. That day when you visited, she called me and told me about it.

"Also, didn't you withdraw a few thousand from Mom's safe? You spent it so quickly?"

"It was just a few thousand dollars, how is it enough? Plus, I was unaware that my bank card had been frozen. I thought that once I got my bank card and phone, I could spend like before, with an endless amount of money to spare.

"I had already spent thousands treating my aunts and cousins for supper, I even bought them some items. To top it all off, I'm renting a place and buying furniture. My expenses are very costly, how could a few thousand dollars be enough?

"Even if this villa is a gift to her from Uncle Abel, this is still a Newman property, which our parents worked hard to build. As far back as I can remember, our parents were always working tirelessly, dedicating their time and effort, and it's their hard work that has brought the Newman family to where it is today.

"That blind bitch wants to reap all the benefits without contributing? No way! By the way, she's not that blind now, is she? That Dr. Carden is so skilled, I did not expect anyone to have cured that mole rat's eyes. Aunt Evelyn spent more than ten years looking for medical help, and still could not find a cure.

Gritting her teeth with rage, Carrie said, "When did her luck turn this good? Could she have made a deal with the devil, sucking our family's luck dry while thriving herself?

"That must be it, she must be involved in some shady rituals or something."

With an unimpressed expression, Trenton said, "You watched too many movies, Carrie. Camryn did no such thing.

"Alright, say no more. I'll go in to fetch you some cash. Just stop creating trouble for Camryn. You said that she's treating you poorly, but have you thought about how you treated her all those years when she was blind? Do you know how much harm you have caused her?"
