Callum only did nothing because Dalton never confessed his love to Camryn and married someone else. The way Dalton looked at Camryn was calm too. "Why aren't you saying anything? Do you still think Dal's your rival?"

Callum quickly denied it. "No. I was simply saying. He's already married anyway. I trust that he treats you like a sister, but you should maintain a healthy distance since you two aren't biological siblings and he has a wife.

"Let me know if you face any difficulties. I'll solve them for you. Let's not trouble Dal unnecessarily, he's already helping out at the company significantly."

Only when Camryn saw Callum's unwavering gaze that she believed him. She said, "I was blind, and he has worked in the company for a long time. He was Uncle Cain's right-hand man too. That's why I'm heavily relying on him when it comes to the company.

"Now that I've regained sight, I've familiarized myself with the business after six months. I handle whatever I can and refrain from going to Dal. He needs time to accompany Melissa too."

When Camryn was blind, she needed Dalton by her side during meetings. He was essential for many matters. Although Melissa did not make a fuss, Camryn felt sorry.

She was aware that Melissa used to view her as a love rival because Dalton treated her exceptionally well. Melissa once said the person Dalton truly loved was Camryn and she wanted to break up with him out of jealousy.

Camryn was the reason Dalton and Melissa fought, and they took some time off their relationship. At that time, Melissa completely ignored him.

Dalton was also furious and did not look for Melissa.

Camryn was concerned when she noticed Dalton was often absent-minded during then. He refused to talk when asked about it. However, in truth, Dalton had loved her before. Knowing well she did not feel the same way, he withheld his confession. Furthermore, he genuinely cared about Melissa. With Callum's appearance and support in Camryn's life, Dalton completely let go of his feelings for her and devoted himself to Melissa.

Their love grew stronger after they tied the knot.

Melissa accepted Camryn in their lives and never felt jealous again. She started to empathize with Camryn's experience as well. Of course, Melissa no longer considered Camryn a love rival ever since the latter was engaged to Callum.

Camryn and Callum soon arrived at Simon and Sasha's place.

"Uncle Simon, Aunt Sasha, are you here?" called Callum once they entered the front yard.

Camryn asked, "Did Kevin go to Jensburg again?"

"Kevin left with Hayden after Zachary and Serenity's wedding. He doesn't have to worry about Wiltspoon Hotel as we'll be looking after it anyway. He just had to focus on his own thing."
