Camryn adored Callum's family very much.

She was well aware that Rosella was many times better than her own mother who had ill-treated her.

Rosella was genuinely kind to her, having never discriminated against her even when she was blind. When Amy and Brenda came complaining to Rosella about her being unfit to be Callum's wife and trying to break them up, Rosella stood up for her. Camryn was very touched by this act.

That was when Camryn started to treat Rosella as a mother figure and Rosella happily accepted it.

She looked into Camryn's eyes and asked, "Camryn, is your vision better? How far can you see?"

"Aunt Rosella, you can ask Camryn later in the house."

Serenity smiled and said to Camryn, "Aunt Rosella knew you were coming back, so she rescheduled all her appointments with her friends and stayed home to wait for you. Nana also said she was coming back for dinner."

Zachary and Serenity visited Alice and headed back to Wildridge Manor for a rest. Camryn came over just in time.

The newlyweds were spending their honeymoon going on a road trip in Wiltspoon just to be close to home. When they wanted a change of scenery, they would stay at another of Zachary's properties. Although Zachary appeared serious and aloof, he liked to splurge on properties. His villas were all in prime locations; near tourist spots and had plenty of delicious food around.

"I can see a little farther now. I'm actually very content with this vision. It's countless times better than the total darkness from before."

"Seren, have you visited Alice? Her baby is so cute. Callum and I came right after we saw her in the hospital."

Serenity smiled and said, "I went to see her, but she didn't let me stay for too long. She said I need more rest because I'm pregnant. When she's discharged, we'll visit her again. The baby is utterly adorable. My heart just melts looking at him."

Camryn's arms were both occupied by Serenity and Rosella on either side. The trio walked slowly toward the house.

Callum, who had just gotten out of the car, and Zachary were left behind by the three ladies.

"Zack!" Callum called out as he opened the door to the backseat.

"Zack, come here and help me carry these. Camryn insisted on buying gifts for everyone. My car is packed to the brim. It's more like a delivery truck now."

"She didn't have to mind the courtesy. This isn't her first time visiting anyway."

Zachary came over and helped Callum with carrying the gifts. Once he saw the inside of the car, he exclaimed, "Wow, that's a lot of things."

"Yeah, because she bought gifts for everyone. Can you call Sam to come help as well?"

Callum's car was parked in the open-air parking lot a distance away from the main house.

Zachary stuffed the things back into the car and said, "It'll be much more convenient if you just drive over and park at the entrance. Why did you park here? It's such a long walk carrying so many things." Whenever Zachary came home, he always drove straight to the main entrance. They were family, after all. Only guests would park their cars in the open-air parking lot.

Callum said, "Well, I parked here because you guys were waiting here."

He looked at the three women who were walking leisurely. "Let's drive there, then. What about them?"

Zachary glanced at the ladies and said, "They like chatting on a stroll. Let them be. Your fiancée can finally see, so I'm sure she wants to walk around and enjoy the scenery." Callum thought Zachary made sense. He returned to the car and asked, "Are you getting in then?"
