Zachary grinned and watched his wife finish the spicy fries.

After saying that, he felt like his words would make Serenity feel pressured to have a daughter, so he quickly added, "Seren, you don't have to feel pressured to have a daughter. Both Nana and my mom didn't get girls like they wanted.

"Since they failed to have a daughter, they have no right to pressure you."

Serenity laughed. "I'm not pressured. The elders in your family aren't picky either. They're happy enough that I can give you a baby."

She did not get pregnant for a year after they married.

The York family went from wanting her to give birth to a daughter to just getting pregnant.

Serenity laughed. "Right, I forgot about that. Then, we'll go to the hospital for a checkup tomorrow, then I'll drop by my sister's shop and then go back to the company for a look. Elisa should have rushed over to Annenburg. Jasmine is pregnant too, so only I can go back to the company."

"Seren, you're pregnant now too," Zachary reminded her.

"I just got pregnant. Others can't tell that I'm pregnant at all. I can still work. Besides, I just want to go back to the office and have a look. I don't have to do anything. We have a manager."
