Cupid's Arrow hit me hard! -
Chapter 2163
'Seren is pregnant!'
After Liberty had processed Zachary's words, she exclaimed in delight.
She was in the Stone family's living area with her son. Aunt Audrey had missed Sonny.
After Sonny's classes were over, Liberty picked him up and went to the Stones' residence. She planned to stay the night after having dinner with them and depart for preschool from their house the next day. She did not expect her brother-in-law's good news.
"What's wrong?"
Liberty's exclamation attracted the Stone couple, Alice, and Sonny's gazes.
"It's good news."
Liberty smiled and said, "Uncle Darrell, Aunt Audrey, Alice, let me tell you something. Seren's pregnant. Zachary called to inform me just now."
After she spoke, Audrey's phone rang.
It was Clive who called.
Audrey answered her son's call while asking Liberty with a grin, "Is it confirmed?"
"It's confirmed, Mom. Zachary said it was Dr. Carden who examined Serenity. She's the miracle healer's best disciple. There's no doubting her skills. People say she's the next miracle healer. It's easy to detect the symptoms of pregnancy. It can't be wrong."
Clive had no idea his mother was directing the question to Liberty. He answered his mother happily as he assumed her question was for him.
Audrey could not hide her grin anymore. She asked her son, "How did you find out?"
"Zachary called to inform me. He told me to tell you about it. He said he was so happy that he could not remember your number, so he called me."
Audrey laughed. "Well, it turns out he can remember yours."
Clive said, "We've been rivals for so many years. Of course we would've memorized each other's numbers.
"This is good news, Mom. It's awesome. You don't have to be worried about Serenity being infertile anymore. She can give birth. Zachary did mention that he and Serenity were healthy, just that they weren't fated to have a baby yet. Now that the timing's right, they're finally pregnant."
Clive knew his mother had always been worried that Serenity could be infertile.
In fact, he was anxious too.
His cousin's parents were dead, while her own family did not support her. If Serenity were indeed infertile, her future would have been unknown.
However, they could finally be at ease and wait for the baby to be born next year.
Clive's child would be born before then.
While others might have been pressured to give birth to a son, Serenity did not have the same issue. The York family was hoping that she could give birth to a daughter. Therefore, as long as Serenity was fertile, there was nothing to be worried about.
The following agenda would be to hold the wedding as soon as possible.
"This is great. It's wonderful."
Audrey was so happy that she kept slapping her thigh.
Darrell was worried her thighs would turn red. He stretched his hand to shield her thighs and let her hand land on his palm instead.
She looked toward him.
"If you're happy, you could've just cried out happily like Liberty. Why must you keep slapping your thigh? Isn't it painful?" Darrell said to his wife.
Audrey hugged her husband with a smile. She said excitedly, "Serenity's pregnant, Darrell. She's pregnant!"
"Yes, yes. We all know that." Darrell told Liberty and Alice, "Look, Liberty. Your aunt got so excited that she hugged me. She hadn't been this excited in a long time. She wasn't even this agitated when Alice got pregnant."
Alice smiled and said, "Clive and I are different. Mom has always been worried about Serenity. She can finally rest assured. I'm happy for Serenity too."
They were all Serenity's relatives from her mother's side. Naturally, they were worried that Serenity's in-laws would chase her out.
"What happened to Aunt Ser, Mom?" Sonny asked.
He only knew that everyone was talking about Aunt Ser. However, he was clueless about what happened to her.
Liberty lifted her son and kissed him several times. She said, "There's a baby in Aunt Ser's stomach now."
"Is it a little brother?"
