"After a few peaceful days, I learned about my true identity, and then it was a long road of investigation. Seren, don't you think that we are ill-fated? Why do pain and suffering always find us?" Serenity comforted her. "Aunt Audrey, don't say that. No one's life can be smooth sailing all the time. We will encounter setbacks along the way. I've talked to Zachary, asking him to help investigate. With more people, we might be able to find some evidence."

"Okay."

Audrey had spoken those pessimistic words to her niece out of momentary frustration.

"Has your sister arrived at your place?"

"She just arrived not long ago. Do you have something to say to my sister, Aunt Audrey?"

Audrey said, "Pass the phone to your sister. I want to talk to her for a moment."

Serenity handed the phone to her sister.

"Aunt Audrey."

Audrey responded and asked Liberty, "Liberty, can you free up some time recently?"

"Of course. What would you like me to do? Just let me know."

"In that case, free up a week and come with me to Jensburg. We'll pay a visit to the current matriarch of the Fishers together."

Audrey was not going to bring Serenity along because she felt Serenity was busier. Liberty would have relatively more free time compared to her sister.

Considering what Elisa had said, Audrey found her daughter's words to be reasonable after careful consideration.

Once it was proven that the previous head of the Fisher family was framed by the current one, and if Audrey herself and Lisa were truly the daughters of the previous head of the Fisher family, then she would aim to reclaim the position of the family head.

However, she was getting older and had no intention of taking on that role herself.

Audrey was well aware of the capabilities and strengths of her own daughter.

Serenity was now the eldest daughter-in-law of the York family, and she was quite adaptable and suitable for the role, but she also faced a lot of pressure.

However, Liberty seemed to be more suitable for the position than Serenity.

Liberty was the eldest daughter of her sister. Audrey believed that if her parents were still alive, they would probably choose Liberty as the successor.

Therefore, Audrey wanted to take Liberty to Jensburg to meet the members of the Fisher family.

"Okay."

Liberty learned about her deceased mother's background from Audrey. Although her mother passed away more than ten years ago, if they could find out the truth, both she and her sister would like to help uncover their mother's origins.

She did not refuse Audrey's request.

"Aunt Audrey, what do I need to prepare?"

"Just pack a few sets of clothes, nothing else."

Liberty smiled. "Okay, I understand. Are we leaving tomorrow?"

"We'll leave on Monday. Tomorrow is Sunday, and Sonny will still be at home. He'll cry if you leave him behind for a long trip."

Sonny had started attending kindergarten, so when Serenity would go on a long trip, he would not be as sad since he would not see his mom leaving.

"Alright."

"Bring Sonny over for dinner tomorrow night, and invite Seren and her husband as well."

"Sure."

Liberty agreed with a smile. Her aunt doted on Sonny the most and often said he resembled Lisa when she was a child. Audrey frequently invited Liberty to bring him over for meals. Liberty had gotten used to it and no longer felt as restrained as she did when she first entered the Stone family.

After ending the call, Liberty told her sister, "Aunt Audrey asked me to clear a week of my schedule to accompany her on a trip to Jensburg to meet the current head of the Fisher family." "Why didn't she invite me?"

"You're busier than I am. Aunt Audrey probably took that into consideration."

Liberty could not imagine that her aunt wanted to groom her for a prominent position in the Fisher family.
