Edward did not stop Trenton and let him leave the cafe.

After he left, Edward called his mother. When she picked up, he said, "Mom, Trenton is still unconvinced, but he might've fought with Camryn. He got slapped by Camryn, and one side of his face is swollen."

Upon hearing that, Mrs. Chandler said smugly, "That means our idea is working. You should pay more attention to Trenton and badmouth Camryn in front of him to ruin their relationship. I refuse to believe that Trenton doesn't care at all."

Mrs. Chandler and her sister had negotiated with Camryn multiple times, but it did not work. They had always looked down on that niece of theirs as they were closer to Cain and were able to reap more benefits from him.

Naturally, they would not treat Camryn well.

Once Camryn took over Newman Enterprise, she started targeting the Chandlers and Joyners. Mrs. Chandler utterly despised Camryn.

Mrs. Chandler said, “He's still a child who hasn't entered society and knows nothing. If he doesn't like you guys talking about those things, don't mention them to him for now. Isn't university starting soon? You can see if he still lacks anything and accompany him shopping.

"After that, send him to the university he's enrolled in before the semester starts. That way, he won't be angry anymore. It's just coaxing a kid. I believe you can do it.

"Also, continue to keep an eye on the blind girl. Find a way to create a misunderstanding between her and Mr. Callum. They're only engaged and haven't obtained a marriage license. There are still many variables that can happen."

The Chandlers and Joyners were not only planning to drive a wedge between Camryn and her brother, but they also wanted to ruin her engagement with Callum. The best outcome would be Camryn losing everything.

After the mother and son ended their conversation, Edward left the hotel too.

On the other hand, after Camryn exited the hotel, Callum did not bring her to the parking lot. Instead, he held her hand and brought her to the right side of the hotel.

Camryn was in a bad mood. As her fiancé was by her side, she did not pay attention to the number of steps she had taken.

She only realized something was off after they walked quite a distance. She stopped and asked the man by her side, "Callum, where are you taking me?"

"You're unhappy. I'm taking you somewhere to relax. There's a garden near Wiltspoon Hotel. I'm taking you on a walk there. The greenery there is lush, which makes it a perfect and cooling spot for a walk during the summer."

After a moment of silence, Camryn said, "Okay."
