Serenity requested the owner of Unit 188 to delete all the pictures she secretly took and even destroyed the film. As for her act of bringing Jenna into the residential area, she insisted that she was unaware of Jenna's intentions. She only helped out because she thought Jenna was a relative of Zachary's family.

The villa owner maintained an innocent expression and guaranteed that she would mind her business in the future.

Serenity believed her. After returning, she requested Sam to arrange for someone to keep an eye on the journalist. She thought the journalist's intention was not as simple as exposing scandals. Serenity caught a hint of envy in the journalist's gaze and the unconscious smile when Zachary was mentioned. If Serenity's guess was right, the entertainment journalist was her second love rival.

Zachary was a magnet. He did not only attract single women. Even divorced women had their eyes on him like he was a huge piece of meat. They seemed eager to eat him whole. Jenne recalled the young wife who had mediocre looks but a sexy figure. She said, "It's you. May I know how you discovered Serenity had gone on a trip? Where did she go?"

"My name's Rain Lawrence. I'm a resident of Regent Residences. I pay quite some attention to Mr. York and his wife's movements. After all, being able to live in the same neighborhood as Mr. York is my honor Therefore, I couldn't resist focusing on them."

Jenna did not say a word.

Rain said, "Mrs. York came to deal with me this afternoon because I had brought you into the neighborhood that day. She scolded me badly. It seems like she's not that confident at all. Maybe the relationship between the husband and wife isn't as good as the public thinks."

Jenna said, "I'm not really clear about that. I fell in love with Mr. York at first sight, but I've only met him once. I'm not familiar with Serenity either. You Wiltspoon people might know her better."

After a pause, she added, "Serenity hasn't gotten pregnant after so long. Did you guys hear any rumors about her being infertile? If they can't have a child, couples in wealthy families won't be able to withstand the test of reality, no matter how good their relationship is. Someone must inherit the York family's multi-million dollar assets. If Serenity can't give birth, she'll be divorced and chased out of the York family. "It's not just wealthy families. Even in normal families, the in-laws might request for a divorce if the woman can't give birth."

Rain said, "We don't know if Serenity is infertile. However, if the couple were as loving as rumored, Serenity would've gotten pregnant long ago. You're right; in-laws wouldn't want a woman who can't give birth. "You fell in love with Mr. York at first sight and are compatible with him in various aspects, Ms. Daniels. If you can get pregnant with his child, you'll be able to replace Serenity."

After a moment of silence, Jenna asked, "Why are you helping me, Ms. Lawrence?"

"I'm not helping you. I'm just using you to vent my anger. When Serenity came to settle her score with me, she scolded me so badly that she didn't even treat me as human. I couldn't stomach the anger, so I'm helping you replace her to avenge myself."

Jenna did not believe Rain's words. She had only met Serenity once, but she could see that Serenity was well-mannered. She would not scold Rain rudely.

However, Jenna believed that Rain did not want Serenity to be happy.

She did not expose Rain's lie and allowed her to slander Serenity. She said, "Thank you for helping me, Ms. Lawrence. It's late, so I'll be turning in. If there's a chance, I'll treat you to a meal in the future." After speaking, Jenna ended the call.

It was good that she had Rain helping her to keep an eye on Zachary and Serenity's movements.

Rain replied: [I don't know.]
