"Are you trying to make me die from laughter so you can inherit my assets, Zachary? It's not your first day being Grandma May's grandson. You should know her personality by now and be mentally prepared. You should be thankful that she didn't kidnap your wife after you just got married. Otherwise, you would've been in a worse state."

After Josh put the phone down, she asked him, "Does Zachary not know that Grandma May and Seren went on a trip? Was he complaining about Grandma May kidnapping Seren?"

Josh laughed. "That's right. He offended Grandma May somehow and is now being put into place. He's finally having a real taste of being neglected and ignored so he won't complain that Serenity's neglecting him anymore. He's been complaining to his sister-in-law about it often too."

Jasmine smiled. "You're right. Seren said she had never met a man who liked complaining to his wife's family that much.
