Chapter 1809

When they were close to the hotel, Hayden woke Kevin up and said to him, "Mr. York, we're almost reaching your hotel."

Kevin sat up and glanced outside the window. It was a familiar sight. He said apologetically to Hayden, "I'm sorry for sleeping throughout the journey."

"No worries."

Hayden thought it was good enough that he did not pass out completely.

Otherwise, she would have had to look after him the entire journey.

"Mr.Hayden, where do you usually stay?"

Hayden kept quiet for a moment before she answered, "I bought a villa in Lake Edge, and I usually stay there since it's close to the office. It's about a ten-minute drive."

If she had stayed with her parents in the manor, it would have taken her one hour of drive to return to the office. She would not be able to sleep longer.

Hayden had a disciplined lifestyle. She would never be late to work.

By half-past eight in the morning, she would have arrived at the office, which was considered early among the senior management.

If the senior managers wanted to sleep in, it would have been past nine by the time they arrived due to the long journey.

Most of the time, she would be having a meeting already. She bought a house nearby so it would be convenient for her to get to and fro work. Also, she did not need to stay with her parents.

"Lake Edge is considered an upscale neighborhood in Jensburg. How much is one villa there? Are there any villas on sale right now?"

"Are you interested in buying one, Mr. York?"

Kevin laughed and replied, "Previously, I've always stayed in hotels, but I think hotels don't feel like home. That's why I want to buy a villa as my home in Jensburg.

"But I hardly come to Jensburg.I don't know the properties here well. Mr.Hayden, you're from Jensburg. Since Queen Enterprise is involved in real estate, I believe you can help me out with this." What Kevin said made sense.

Without much hesitation, Hayden said, "Lake Edge is the best neighborhood in Jensburg. It has the most upscale villas, which are highly sought after. They've all been sold out.I can help you find out whether there is still any available. If there is, you can take a look at it.If it suits you, you can buy it.

"If there's none, I can recommend other villas to you. There are quite a lot of great villas in Jensburg."

Kevin said, "I want to buy a villa in Lake Edge. You stay there because it's convenient to go to work, and I feel the same. That's what matters. Are there any pre-owned villas? I don't mind."

It would be best if he could be Hayden's neighbor, just like Remy who did not mind buying the secondhand villa next to the Stones' residence.

Most importantly, the villa was close to the Stones' house and Remy could easily approach Elisa.

Kevin wanted to learn from Remy.

It did not matter how old a tactic was as long as it was useful.

Kevin and Hayden went back a long way, but they hardly interacted.

To make Hayden fall in love with him, Kevin had to interact with her more often.

If they became neighbors and met every day, Hayden would notice Kevin's strengths and slowly fall in love with him.

He would have a better chance of detecting clues about Hayden's identity and exposing the fact that she was a woman.

He did not want to be labeled as gay when he was in a relationship with Hayden.

"Pre-owned?"

After some thought, Hayden said, "My housekeeper mentioned that my neighbor is planning to resell her house. I'm not sure if the owner is flipping houses. After the villa was bought, it wasn't renovated.Other houses have been renovated and resided for some years, yet there's still no change in that villa."

"The house-flipping rate is quite high. Do you want to take a look at the house, Mr. York?"
