Chapter 1772

Mrs. Lewis was afraid that her husband and son would get into a fight, so she pushed her son to the right where there was a ramp for wheelchair users.

Liberty and Mrs. Lewis wheeled Duncan to the lower floor.

Once on the first floor, they saw medical personnel wheeling a patient into the elevator.

Liberty caught sight of a familiar face.

It was her ex-sister-in- law's husband, George.

George paused in motion when he saw Liberty too.

"Liberty," George greeted.

Liberty was about to pretend not to know him and walk away, but George called her name.

With Liberty stopping in her tracks, Mrs. Lewis looked at George and asked Liberty, "Who is he?" "He's my ex-husband's brother-in-law." Mrs. Lewis went to push her son ahead and told Liberty, "Oh, we'll be waiting for you outside." Since George wanted to have a word with Liberty, Mrs. Lewis did not want to get into their business.

Once Mrs. Lewis and Duncan were gone, Liberty asked, "What are you doing here, Mr. Repton? Is someone sick in your family?" George replied in distress, "It's Chelsea." "What happened to Chelsea?" Chelsea was tough, so it was hard to imagine she would be ill to the point of requiring hospitalization.

Liberty remembered her former sister-in-law to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to take on the day.

Chelsea rarely caught a cold, much less a grave illness.

George uttered, "She's not sick.

She's hurt.

Jessica, the wretch, stabbed her.

Thank God the blade missed her vital organs.

She's not in a critical state now, so she's moved from the emergency room to the regular ward.

"Hank is still in the emergency room.

He got the worst injuries.

There's no telling whether he'll survive.

He sustained multiple stab wounds.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown are waiting outside the emergency room while I watch over Chelsea." Shocked, Liberty queried, "Mr. Repton, w- what happened? Why did Jessica stab them?" Liberty would not be surprised if Jessica harmed Mrs. Brown and Chelsea, but she stabbed Hank multiple times instead.

Jessica was after Hank's life.

Was Hank not the love of her life? When did the couple turn against each other to the point of getting violent? Hank was Sonny's dad no matter what.

Liberty did not hope for Sonny to lose his father at a young age, so she inquired further about the circumstances surrounding Hank.

George replied, "I don't know much about what's going on.

I got the call that they were taken to the hospital.

Chelsea was being wheeled out when I made it here.

It's a good thing that Chelsea survived.

It was quite a scare.

"1 heard from Mr. Brown that Hank's heartbeat stopped from the shock due to the multiple stab wounds.

I don't know whether his injuries are fatal or what started the whole thing.

Jessica called the cops after stabbing them.

The police had taken her away.

1 "She was charged with a crime, and now she has another charge added to her name.

I will take her to court until she gets the death penalty.

The wicked b*tch! "Jessica shouldn't drag Chelsea into it if she doesn't want to live.

She can go to hell herself.

She could've taken her pick-jump off the building, jump into a river, or hang herself.

Why did she have to swing a knife? My children will be without a mother if anything were to happen to Chelsea. Jessica is such a wicked woman!" George blasted Jessica.
