Chapter 1766

Grandma May and Sonny chatted as they walked.

"Sonny, I haven't seen you in a long time.I missed you so much."

Sonny liked being around Grandma May.

Although she was not his biological great-grandmother, Mom told him she was the great-grandmother of his soon-to-be-born cousins.

Therefore, Grandma May was his great-grandmother too.

"Great-grandma, I missed you a lot too."

Sonny was a smooth talker. His speech would change according to the person. He would be especially honey-tongued with the people he liked and was able to please the adults. On the other hand, he would be brutally honest with unfamiliar people, such as Kevin.

"I knew you were coming, so I had the chef prepare lots of good food for you. You have to eat more later, Sonny. That way, you'll grow taller and go to school earlier."

Grandma May walked quickly without even panting despite carrying the child.

Tania and the others had been behind her.

When Grandma May carried Sonny back, they followed her and returned too.

Compared to Zachary, who was over thirty years old, the elders liked Sonny more. They would not even spare Zachary a glance.

After getting out of the car, Zachary saw all the elders revolving around Sonny.

He said to Serenity, who had also exited the car, "Sonny's like a third-wheeler and scene-stealer. In the past, they would surround me and be concerned for me whenever I returned. Now, they won't even spare me a glance."

Serenity smiled and said, "Don't call Sonny a third- wheeler. He'll get angry. He said his name is Sonny, not Third Wheel."

She teased her husband on purpose.

"I like Sonny's adorable, smiley face more than your tense expression. He's also a smooth talker, unlike you. You sound dry and monotonous even when you're greeting your family. Who's going to like you?" Zachary embraced Serenity's shoulder and headed toward the main house with her.

As they walked, he said, "It's fine as long as you like me.It doesn't matter whether other people like me or not."

Serenity only allowed Zachary to hold her after seeing the elders entering the house with Grandma May and Sonny, and that no one had turned to look at them.

When they almost reached the door, she took his hand away and said, "No touching or cuddling in the house."

"The elders will be happy if we touch and cuddle."

If they were to treat each other like strangers, the elders' hair would probably go white from worry.

Grandma May had been worried when he and Serenity treated each other respectfully back then.

Zachary and Serenity entered the house.

The elders were still revolving around Sonny.

Sonny would address them as Grandpa or Grandma sometimes, which drew laughter from them. Sonny was handsome and fair.

He was genuinely lovable.

No one even looked toward Zachary and Serenity when they entered.

He pulled her to sit in the most eye-catching spot but was quickly shoved away by his parents.

Therefore, he had to sit in the corner with his wife.

Serenity smiled and said, "Babe, it seems like it's not just you. I've fallen out of favor too."

The York family had greatly favored her as she was the first daughter-in-law of Zachary's generation.

Zachary pretended to be aggrieved.

"I've been doted on for thirty years, but all it took was Sonny to make me fall out of favor."It even happened within a mere minute.
