The child Zachary was carrying must be Serenity's nephew.

It was apparent that Zachary was fond of the little man.

He loved his wife and her family too.

A lot went through Mr. Daniels's mind as Zachary brought Serenity into the room.

"Seren, this is Mr. Daniels.

Mr. Daniels, this is my wife, Serenity." Zachary led Serenity to the table and introduced Serenity and Mr. Daniels to each other.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Mr. Daniels rose to his feet and shook Serenity's hand with a smile.

He then glanced at the bodyguards who were carrying flowers and shopping bags.

Ata closer distance, Mr. Daniels got a good look at the brand on the shopping bags. The brand did men's wear.

Mr. Daniels thought to himself that Mrs. York must have purchased clothes for Mr. York.

Mr. York was simply showing off the stuff his wife bought him.

"Serenity." It was Kevin's turn to greet Serenity after her handshake with Mr. Daniels.

He got up and put his hand out to take Sonny from Zachary.

Kevin said with a smile, "It's been a while since I've seen Sonny.

Sonny, do you miss me?" "No.

+ The boy barely had any interactions with Kevin, so there was no relationship, to begin with.

Why would he miss someone he had no affection for? Kevin was a stranger to Sonny.

It did not matter to Sonny that Kevin was his uncle's cousin.

Kevin said, "You don't miss me? But I miss you.

Oh, that's hard to swallow." Sitting in Kevin's arms, Sonny looked at him and earnestly uttered, "You don't miss me either." oy do.

>> "Why didn't you visit me and take me out if you really miss me?" Kevin was stumped.

Laughter filled the room.

Mr. Daniels complimented, "Mrs. York, your nephew is a smart boy." Serenity replied modestly, "You're too kind, Mr. Daniels. Sonny is honest.

He only speaks the truth." Everybody burst into laughter once more.

After a good laugh, Zachary gestured to the bodyguards to put the flowers and clothes on the empty seat next to Mr. Daniels.

Puzzled, Mr. Daniels stared at Zachary.

He got a bad feeling about it.

"Mr. Daniels," Zachary spoke in a husky voice.

Kevin looked at Zachary in confusion.

Now that Zachary was talking, Kevin pricked his ears so as not to miss anything.

What was going on? Serenity gave Zachary flowers and clothes, but Zachary told his bodyguards to put the stuff next to Mr. Daniels.

"T want to show you a few pictures, Mr. Daniels.

I got Josh to look into something, and he sent the pictures to me." Zachary pulled out his phone and tapped on WhatsApp to show the pictures to Mr. Daniels.

The look on Mr. Daniels's face said it all.

"T appreciate that your daughter has a crush on me, Mr. Daniels, but I am a married man.

I love my wife very much, and she's the only woman for me forever.

I can't accept another woman.

All the love I have is for Seren and no one else.

"T hope you can do mea favor and return the gifts from your daughter to her.

"In regards to our partnership, I think..."
