Cosset You Forever -
Chapter 732 I Want A Daughter Too
"Ask."
Samuel took her in his arms. "When will you quit showbiz?"
Quit showbiz? Ella had never thought about it.
Was she going to quit now when her career was thriving?
However, since Samuel had brought it up, she would think about it. As for now, she replied, "Guess."
Ella gave him a taste of his own medicine.
Samuel couldn't refrain from laughing, "Well, my guess is that if you give me another daughter, you'll have to quit!"
His hands under the blanket began to move, searching for her body.
Ella stared at him, stunned and speechless. "To give you another daughter? But we already have Jane. Don't you like her?" "You know I love her." Samuel responded without looking up.
Ella thought for a moment. It was clear that Samuel loved Jane, and only a fool would refute that fact.
Samuel even treated Jane better than Jerry. Ever since he learned that Jane was his daughter, he doted on her all the time. Even Ella was jealous of his affection towards their daughter.
She had to admit that he was right, but one thing nagged at her, "Samuel..." she held Samuel's hand, "I'm not sure."
Samuel was stunned.
"Why? What do you mean?"
Ella averted her eyes, "I'm afraid that when I become pregnant, you would deny that the child is yours again!"
Samuel kissed her on the back of her hand, "I'll never do that again."
After all the ups and downs, he must be blind if he still didn't know what kind of person Ella was and how much she loved him.
"Well, haven't you heard of the proverb? Men are all the same, they are liars!"
"Who said that? That's pure bullshit, if I may say so." Samuel shook his head.
Ella's eyes shot up and she squinted at him. She didn't know whether Samuel was trustworthy.
As if afraid she wouldn't believe him, Samuel looked into her eyes and said, "Ella, I promise."
Promise? To be fair, Samuel had turned over a new leaf, and the promise wasn't necessary, so Ella had to make a decision. She decided not to dwell on Samuel's trust issues.
As she curled up next to him to sleep, her mind raced with thoughts. Plus, she dreaded Samuel's sexual urges that stole her sleep on most nights.
The night was permeated with their passionate moans.
If they hadn't had to wake up early the next day to capture some more wedding photos, Samuel wouldn't have let Ella go to bed so early.
The wedding photos continued for two more days, and during that time they traveled to other cities.
Many people saw them taking wedding photos and posted about it on their various social media platforms.
The day they finished, Eason called her. "Ella, my baby's born!"
Eason's excited voice nearly broke Ella's ear drum. But she didn't mind. She was an aunt.
Hearing Eason's excited squeal, Samuel gestured to Ella to put him on speakerphone. "Congratulations, dear brother, you are finally a father." "Samuel, hurry up. Come see my daughter!"
"We are on our way." Samuel answered briefly and finished the call.
Ella was also excited. She got up immediately and changed into casual clothes.
It was Sunday, and Jane and Jerry were not with them, otherwise, they would have all gone to see the new addition to their extended family. Samuel and Ella proceeded to Chengyang Private Hospital.
In the ward.
Eason was showing off his daughter to Chuck, "Look, I've got a daughter. You should cheer up!"
Chuck stood there speechless, watching Eason dangling the new born baby in front of him.
"Let's wait and see." Chuck was agitated by the display, and he immediately turned and left the room, straight to his office.
In the name of the baby's birth, he called Daisy and asked her to come to the hospital.
As soon as Chuck left, Samuel took Ella to the ward.
"Samuel, you've had a daughter for a long time. And now, as your brother, I have a daughter too!" Samuel saw the baby, wrapped up tight in Eason's arms. Even when his daughter was asleep, he was reluctant to let go.
Ella recalled that Jerry and Jane had the same wrinkled face when they were young and both liked to sleep.
Glancing at her brother, who was so excited about having a daughter, she was amused. Ella walked to the hospital bed, "Anna, how are you?"
Anna smiled at Ella, "It was an easy delivery. I'm fine."
When they were talking, Eason gave the tiny baby to Samuel.
"Be careful... Slow down... Please hold her gently." Eason admonished Samuel over and over again.
Samuel couldn't help but despise Eason, "I'm a lot more experienced than you are."
Although, he regretted that he didn't get the chance to see Jane as a baby.
Ella watched in amusement as the two men bickered. She took her niece from Samuel and held her in her arms.
Ella observed that the baby looked like Eason, a miniature version of him, especially since her eyes were closed. No wonder Eason was so happy.
Both Samuel and Ella had work to do and had to leave the hospital.
Before leaving, Ella handed a red envelope to Anna for her little niece.
Anna glanced at the check, startled.
"Eason, look!"
Eason looked away from his daughter and took a look at the amount on the check. Fifty million!
"Well, Samuel is rich." Eason was calm and knew the money was nothing to Samuel.
"Wow! Thanks." Anna accepted the check, still surprised.
Daisy had just arrived at the hospital and was supposed to see Anna first, but Chuck called her to his office.
"Come to me first, we can go and see Anna together."
Daisy stood at the elevator entrance, pondering over which floor to go to.
"Come here, I've got something to tell you, and then I'll go with you to see Anna."
Unsuspecting, Daisy walked into the elevator and pressed the elevator button to the floor where Chuck's office was.
Inside Chuck's office.
As soon as Daisy opened the office door, she fell into a familiar embrace.
Then she was caught off guard by a kiss, proceeded by the sound of a door locking.
"Chuck, what happened?" Daisy was puzzled by the strange way he was acting.
"Eason showed off his daughter to me. I want a daughter too." Chuck gritted his teeth at the thought of Eason's elation, looking expectantly at Daisy.
Everything eventually settled. Samuel had planned the wedding, and the date was decided. Sending out all the invitations, Samuel still didn't tell Ella when and where the wedding was.
He wanted to surprise Ella by letting her know as late as possible.
However, things didn't go as planned. Ella found out earlier than expected when Ms. Fila was finalizing on the final modification of the wedding dress. When asking Ella to try on her wedding dress again, Ms. Fila accidentally mentioned when the wedding day was. She spoke praises of how Ella would be the most beautiful bride at her wedding the next day.
Tomorrow? Ella stood still, stunned.000000☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
