Miranda overheard the comments, knowing they were meant for her. Not wanting to lose to Nina, she smiled and said to the crew, "Nash and I are treating everyone to a meal. Order whatever you like. It's on me!" "Wow, a feast!" The crew was delighted.

"Thank you, Miranda. Thank you, Mr. York. You're really generous, just like a future Mrs. York!" This flattery pleased Miranda immensely.

She wanted to uphold the title of Mrs. York even more, so she said to everyone, "You've all worked so hard. You need to eat well to have the energy to work. Nash and I hope that our drama will be a big hit!" They all raised their glasses filled with beverages in toast.

Miranda's assistant got busy taking everyone's orders.

Angel watched Miranda, thinking she was already acting high and mighty without even being married yet. She could not understand why Nina divorced Nash and why he ended up with Miranda. It was all too complicated. Angel felt bad for Nina. Nash never publicly announced their marriage, but now he was openly declaring his relationship with Miranda.

It was like throwing Nina's feelings to the ground. The more Angel thought about it, the more unjust it seemed, and her opinion of Nash plummeted.

Nina said nothing, but she observed them from afar. Miranda and Nash appeared as a loving couple, envied by all.

She did not want to lose face, so she turned to Scott and said, "This is good. Have a bite." She held a pastry to Scott's lips.

It was the first time she had fed him, so he paused briefly before tasting it, "Mmm, it's tasty."

Nash saw this interaction, and his deep eyes instantly grew colder.

"I told you it was good," Nina said with a smile. "I noticed you were taking care of everyone and hadn't eaten anything warm."

Scott, gentle as ever, replied, "I'm just used to taking care of people. It's in my nature."

"You've helped me so much. I can take care of you too." Nina offered him another bite of the pastry.

Scott took it with a smile, chewing as he said, "Sure."

Nina then took a napkin to wipe his mouth.

Crash-the sound of a glass breaking interrupted them. Nash, filled with icy rage, had crushed his wine glass.

With a loud crash, the sound of a glass shattering echoed through the room. Nash's body was tense with cold fury and his eyes were almost shooting daggers at Scott as he crushed the stem of his wine glass in his hand! This action immediately alarmed everyone. "Mr. York, are you okay?" They were worried about Nash injuring his hand.

Miranda immediately grabbed his hand, exclaiming "Nash, let me see, oh dear, you've cut yourself. Ruby, quickly bring the first aid kit!"

She made a big fuss as her assistant hurried to fetch the kit.

Nash felt no pain, the physical sensation was nothing compared to his emotional turmoil.

This slight commotion naturally drew Nina's attention.

As their eyes met, his were cold and slightly hostile, as if blaming her for being too close to another man.

"Does it hurt, Nash?" Miranda blew gently on his hand and quickly dabbed at the blood with a tissue.

Nash's gaze was distant, focused elsewhere, so he did not respond to her.

Nina's lips curled into a mocking smile, "Better bandage it quickly before it heals itself."

Miranda looked at Nina, "Given our past, I'm not asking for much concern from you, but could you at least not make such sarcastic remarks?"
