CEO's mysterious wife -
Chapter 26
He hugged me tightly and repeated with grievance and choking, so I had no choice but to tentatively touch his back. "Okay, he didn't propose to me, so..."
"But you care about his emotional investment in you..."
He raised his head, his eyes were red and tears were streaming down his face. I still felt a pang in my heart. In terms of emotional dedication, no one could compare to him. After all, he had endured and worked alone for ten years, but I had always accepted it. People take care of me, the teacher, Aldrin, and three other friends.
"True, but, maybe there's another way to repay him."
I began to ponder unconsciously, and his tears gradually fell on my body, which was ice cold, and I finally came back to my senses.
"Hector, what are we doing now?"
But he had already softened, pulled out of my body, and just hugged me and cried loudly.
"Oh, I know you feel wronged."
I smiled helplessly and stroked his head naked until I felt a slight chill, and then I tried to coax him to get up and get dressed.
I thought he would fight with me until dawn, but instead, he hugged me and cried in bed, all night. He fell asleep at dawn. I saw his eyes were red and a little swollen, and I wanted to go. I wet a towel and applied it to him, but he pulled me back to the bed and hugged me tighter.
This is what the butler saw when he came. I told him to prepare a wet towel and brought it to him with my eyes looking like he was watching a blockbuster movie of the century. He left quickly and came back very quickly, still holding it in his hand. A small ice pack.
I carefully wrapped the ice pack in a wet towel and applied it to Hector's eyes. He still held me and rubbed me. I could only gently hold his head and half-raise my upper body to help him apply the ice pack to his eyes. "Don't move, you have to be obedient."
As expected, he was honest and allowed me to apply it for him for ten minutes before the swelling in his eyes faded.
I put the towel aside and told the butler to have a good sleep and then go home after lunch. The butler thoughtfully prepared breakfast for me, as if he saw that I was not sleepy, so I simply settled it in Hector's arms. Breakfast, after all, he had been feeding me for the first half of last night, and I was not hungry.
We soon when we were woken up by the housekeeper. He seemed to have something to say. I looked at it in confusion, but he didn't say it. He just walked away and asked us to change out of our pajamas before preparing lunch for us. "The housekeeper .s..."
Just when I was about to say something, the housekeeper came over and said something in Hector's ear. He didn't want to. As far as I know, Hector has never been shy about talking about work in front of me. I'm afraid it's my fault. What happened to the father again?
But I saw Hector smile, give me a reassuring look, and let me eat.
We finished lunch and started driving home with Miky.
"What's wrong with my father?"
He smiled and shook his head as if he wanted to remain mysterious. It wasn't until we drove home that I realized that the home had been decorated, like a newlyweds' home.
In my astonished eyes, he gently led me into the garden. There was a red rose arch in the garden and a path covered with red rose petals. I was pulled by him to the pavilion until he solemnly opened the door. He took out a gift box, opened it, and knelt on one knee in front of me.
"Myluna, you appeared in front of me wearing a mask at the previous engagement party, so today I want to propose to you again. Please marry me."
My nose felt sore for no reason, I nodded while holding back tears, and watched him put the diamond ring on my ring finger.
He finally smiled and stood in front of me and hugged me. Then, I heard him sobbing again, and hugged me, tighter.
"Hector Wilson, who said you could accept me, but kidnapped my fiancée behind my back?"
A familiar voice suddenly appeared behind me. I was startled. When I turned around, I saw Aldrin appearing behind me covered in dust!
Because I was frightened, I slipped and almost fell, but I was picked up directly by Hector. I heard him say, "Aldrin Anderson, I will not give her to you." The strong smell of gunpowder filled the air around us, but none of them looked at me. Instead, their eyes were locked in a fierce battle.
"Okay, then let's play fair."
Aldrin smiled first, but I saw Hector snort.
"It seems you have forgotten. Let me remind you that she and I have been engaged since we were young. You are just a latecomer and want to steal my fiancée?"
I touched my nose in embarrassment. After all, Aldrin had taken care of me for so many years. I didn't want any of them to get hurt, but I was sent back to the house by Hector. When I wanted to walk out of the house, I found that the door was locked. On!
I ran to the balcony and opened the window to talk to them, but they still maintained a verbal war, and it seemed that they had reached the level of competing for their careers.
Is there any comparison? One is in Europe and the other is in America. They are both heavyweight CEOs. How can they compare?
Then, they started to compete with each other about who treated me better. I really couldn't listen anymore, so I sat beside the railing on the balcony with my back to them.
No wonder Hector doesn't want me to get close to them...
Next, I was honored to learn from the housekeeper that they competed in basketball, billiards, and table tennis, and finally started competing in tennis. They continued to compete until midnight before everyone went to bed tired. It was rare that I wasn't disturbed, but I still didn't sleep well. I kept thinking about what happened between them until breakfast...
