Even though Josiah said that , he still walked closer and picked Sienna up in his arms .

He didn’t forget to remind her .

“ Lean on me , don’t fall ! ” 

Sienna quietly rested against his chest . 

He smiled with amusement .

He found Sienna was being quite well – behaved right now .

He carried her to the car and buckled her seatbelt . 

Sienna opened her mouth , her voice hoarse , 1- 

“ What do you want to say ? ” Josiah narrowed his eyes in suspicion .

“ Don’t tell me you think I’m interfering too much and that you don’t need my help 

“ No , ” Sienna paused and shook her head .

She really didn’t think that way .

She had been annoyed by him before , but to be fair , tonight he did save her and help her .

She lowered her gaze , speaking slowly and softly .

Suddenly , a spark of light flashed in Josiah’s eyes , and his heart skipped a beat .

With a smile , he said , “ Well , it seems you do have some gor intentions .

He walked around the car , got in , and drove her home . 

In the next couple of days , Sienna wouldn’t be able to work .

Henry approved a two – day leave for her . 

The next day , Josiah first went to the nursing home to visit Miranda . 

“ Oh , you’re here ? Perfect timing , Miranda , concerned about Sienna’s boyfriend , immediately asked Josiah , “ Have you found out anything ? Wh kind of person is Sienna’s boyfriend ? ” 

“ Grandma , ” Josiah’s expression was complex , a blend of relief and hidden irritation .

“ Don’t worry about it ,

“ Over ? ” Miranda was surprised , “ Why is it over ? Sienna said he was very good in her 

“ Good ” Josh sneered dismissively , “ Te’s old enough to be her father ! He’s got kids .

This gave him a good reason to visit . 

When there was a knock on the door , Sienna was making oatmeal .

All day she’d been drinking this because her throat hurt so much that even swallowing was painful . 

She had no choice but to have this , and she couldn’t have too much , as it would be too thick to swallow 

Hearing the knock , she ran to open the door , puzzled to see Josiah carrying bags . 

“ Move aside ! ” Josiah said loudly as he walked in , placing the items on the shoe cabinet by the entrance .

Seeing Sienna staring blankly , he frowned .

“ Why are you looking at me like that ? ” 

Sienna pointed at the things he brought . 

“ Grandma asked me to bring these over , Josiah coughed awkwardly .

“ Otherwise , do you think I’d want to come to this dump ? There’s not even a place to stand herer 

Saying this , he had already walked in and casually plopped himself down on the sofa , picked up a cup from the table , and drank .

Sienna wanted to stop him but she was too late .

He had already drunk from her cup .

He took a bag out of his pocket and tossed it to Ryan .
