“ Siennal ” Backstage , Henry came over again with a beaming smile .

Originally , he felt disappointed because Josiah hadn’t shown up tonight . 

To his surprise , even though Josiah wasn’t here , he had sent the late – night snacks over . 

“ Mr.

White , what’s up ? ” Sienna smiled as she stood up 

“ Wait a moment .

” Henry waved at her with a smile , asking the staff to open all the lounge doors and called to the people by the entrance , “ Come on ; bring it in ” 

As soon as he finished speaking , around eight people walked in , each holding something . 

Henry cheerfully directed , “ Put it on the large table in the middle .” 

The large table in the middle of the dressing room was usually used by everyone for eating meals , drinking water , and sometimes listening to Henry’s talks .

as obvious that the eight individuals were there to deliver food because they were all dressed in delivery uniforms . 

“ Sienna , what’s Mr.

White up to ?? the colleagues gathered around Sienna , whispering 

Sienna shook her head and honestly said , “ I have no idea .” 

When the food was unpacked , they saw the logo of Tasty Blites . 

“ It’s the dessert from Tasty Bites ! 

“ Indeed ! Is Mr.

White so generous ? ” 

Once everything was on the table and the delivery people had lef , Henry clapped his hands and addressed the crowd , Ladies , there are desserts from Tasty Bites for everyone ! ” 

“Wow ! Everyone clapped together

White , you’re so generous ” 

“ No , it’s not me .

” Henry waved his hand with a smile , giving Sienna a meaningful look .

“ I wasn’t my money .

If you’re going to thank someone , thank Sienna .

Flynn is treating everyone on her behalf . 

“ Wow , Sienna , you re amazing ! ” 

“Yeah , we’re lucky to know Sienna .

Faced with her colleagues’teasing , Sienna forced a smile , her expression awkward

though this was Maze’s staff passageway , it wasn’t locked . 

As she just stepped out , she saw someone familiar .

Cedric had snuck in ; even th 

He didn’t know why he came in either , it was just that his cousin used Josialy’s name to send Silver Fox late – night snacks … He wondered how Silver Fox felt and whether she was happy that Josiah valued her so much .

” Sienna blinked .

“ You can’t find the restroom again ? ” 

“ No , not at all Cedric hadn’t expected to meet her as soon as he walked in . 

He glanced into the lounge , where everyone was enjoying the desserts from Tasty Bites Awkwardly , he asked , “ You’re … not having any ? ” 

“ What ? ” Sienna paused briefly before she realized what he meant .

“ Oh , you’re talking about the snacks .

There’s nothing I particularly like , so I’m not cating i 

“ Really “” Cedric’s eyes lit up , and a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth .

She didn’t like it . 

This could be interpreted in two ways .

The desserts really weren’t to her taste , or she wasn’t very fond of the person who sent them . 

Either way , it was undoubtedly good news for him . 

Cedric wallowed and mustered his courage .

“ Huh ?” Sienna paused for a moment and asked him , “ Why do you ask that ? ” 

“ T – L… ” Cedric blished .

“ I’m just checking .

You don’t have to answer , 

“ Well , I’m off Sienna pointed ahead . 

“ Okay ” Cedric nodded , a bit disappointed as he watched her walk away absently . 

Suddenly , 

Sienna turned around . 

Cedric straightened up immediately , expectant . 

Sienna thought for a moment and said , “ Pumpkin soup .

” 

With those words , she walked off without looking back . 

“ Pumpkin soup “ Cedric murmured the words , suddenly chuckling sofily 

She was answering his earlier question .

“ Yes ” He felt like he had found a treasure . 

Sienna forgot all about it , came back from the restroom , touched up her makeup , and waited for her performance . 

After the show , she took off her makeup , changed HER clothes , and left . 

“ Hey ! ” someone called out to her just as she left the building . 

Sienna wasn’t sure she was the one being called , so she turned around and saw Cedric walking toward her with a bag in his hand . 

She stopped and waited for him .

“ What’s up ? ” 

Cedric jogged over , stopped in front of her , nodded , and handed her the bag .

“ This is for you ” 

“ What is it ?” Sienna frowned , not taking it 

But Cedric was out of time ; his cousin and friends were still waiting for him .

If they saw him meeting her , they wouldn’t let him off easily . 

“ Take it in his hurry , Cedric thrust the bag into her hands . 

Sienna frowned .

As soon as his hand touched hers , she immediately frowned in reaction .

Fortunately , it was just a moment before he quickly widerew 

“ Tom Iraving ” Cedric smiled and turned to 

Logo . 

“ Hey , what is it ?” she asked . 

Cedric glanced back , waved at her , and answered , “ Pumpkin soup ”

Then , he ran off in long strides . 

Sienna looked down , opened the bag , and sure enough … it was pumpkin soup .

She felt it — it was cold , with an ice pack inside the bag- 

She wondered , ‘ Did he buy it because she mentioned it ? Is he interested in me ? 

Sienna shook her head with a sigh .

“ Is he just a spoiled rich kid looking for a fling or a naive young man experiencing his first crush ” 

Either way , she wasn’t interested .

She had no plans for a new romantic relationship , at least not now . 

Still , she appreciated the pumpkin soups 

Sienna picked up the bag , unlocked a shared bike , and went back to her place on 12th Avenue . 

Several floors of the apartment building’s stairway sensor lights were not working , including her floor . 

Sienna look out her phone and turned on the flashlight to light her way .

As the beam shot forward , suddenly … 

“ Ahr Sienna screamed , startled to see someone standing at the doorway She almost tossed her phone . 

“ You’re back , ” the silhouette spoke from the darkness . 

Sienna’s mind buzzed .

This voice sounded so familiar She’d heard it somewhere before .

She wondered if this was someone she knew . 

Uncertain . 

n , she pointed the light there again . 

“ Tsk ! ” The beam of light hit Josiah’s eyes , and he quickly shielded them with his hand , displeasedly saying , “ Sienna , are you interrogating a 

Sienna thought , Do I hear it wrong ! That’s Josiah ?! ” 

Instead of dodging the flashlight , she just stood there unfazed .

Upon a closer look , it really was him 

Sienna’s first reaction was to turn and leave . 

“ Sienna ” Josiah stepped forward and grabbed her long ponytail .

“ Are you running away ? Where do you think you’re going !”
