Chapter 16 The moment Josiahs lips met Siennas , he was taken aback her ups felt incredibly soft .

Still unsure , she asked , You think Im playing the sympathy card to save our marriage ? What else could it be ? Josiah replied with a sneer .

Shaking his head , he continued , If you werent after something , why would you , a spoiled princess from the Flynn family , put up with all this ? Spoiled ? Sienna couldnt help but smirk .

She replied coolly , Chill out , Ive already signed the divorce agreement .

I wont be bothering you anymore .

You better not , Josiah said , giving her a hard look .

Then he laughed softly .

Heres a piece of advice .

Our marriage is definitely over .

With that , he turned and headed upstairs Sienna stayed silent , a soft , mocking laugh escaping her lips .

She knew she needed to find a new place quickly it was time to move out .

Chapter 16 Upstairs in the main bedrooms , Josiah came out of the shower , towel drying his hair when he suddenly paused .

He touched his lips, feeling the softness of Siennas kiss lingering there .

Suddenly , a thought struck him .

He stood up , opened the first aid kit , and grabbed a fresh tube of ointment .

After a brief hesitation , he headed downstairs with it .

Sienna sat on the sofa , staring at her phone , her eyes glued to the balance in her mobile banking app .

She felt utterly helpless just when things couldnt get worse ? Sienna .

Josiah called as he walked up to her .

Sienna quickly put her phone away .

Whats wrong ? Is the sofa not okay to sleep on ? If you like punishing yourself , no ones stopping you , Josiah scoffed coldly .

He bent down and placed the ointment on the coffee table , tapping it with his finger and pointing at her arm .

With that , he turned and went back upstairs without another word .

Once his footsteps faded , Sienna finally looked at the ointment on the coffee table , feeling like ice had flooded her veins .

What a gentleman , huh ? she muttered sarcastically , her fists clenched , trembling slightly .

After a while , she rolled over .
