~ Josiah Josiah watched Dermet and the third of Killt, Keith, land directly on top of Clara and felt his wolf go berserk. He no longer had control of their body, could only watch as his wolf pushed them to the extremes to reach Clara in time before she was crushed and killed. Other Killt members attempted to get in his way, to prevent him from reaching his target. He leaped over and dodged around all challengers, not caring about the wounds he was receiving in the process. Catalina reached Dermet and Clara first, slamming her small body into the red wolf assaulting Dermet. Her momentum was enough to shove the wolf and Dermet, whose arms were wrapped around the wolf's neck with his claws digging into the scruff, off and away from Clara. There was blood on Clara, practically covering her from head to toe. Josiah couldn't tell if it was hers or Dermet's, but it didn't matter to his wolf. Josiah was lost to oblivion as the wolf's rage consumed every part of his being. Harvey Harvey reached the witch just as the white wolf leaped for her throat. His claws dug into the wolf's flanks, while he continuously bit at the back of its neck. The wolf suddenly jerked to the left, offsetting Harvey and causing him to roll four times across the blood-soaked floor. Skidding to a stop, Harvey quickly rose back to his feet and charged the white wolf who was stalking Clara once more.

Harvey was about to lunge at the wolf but stopped just short when a large tan-ish blur shot into the side of the white wolf. Harvey hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether or not it was a Clan member. The Killt had to have known Clara was a witch now, and even with killing several of their members, they would still want her among them if they could at all help it.

Harvey's eyes widened when he realized who the blur was. 'Shit, this is not good', he thought as he hurriedly rushed to Clara's unconscious form. He stood over her fallen form, watching the sandy wolf savagely tearing apart the smaller white one. This was not good at all; Josiah's wolf had taken complete control of them. There was no human reasoning behind the attacks, just pure animal instincts.

With Clara unconscious and the wolf in full control, he could attack anyone and everyone within the den, in a misguided attempt at protecting his mate. Somehow, Harvey had to either awaken Clara without Josiah seeing him touching her, or he had to get through to the man within the wolf and bring him back to the fore. Either way was going to be one hell of a challenge.

~ Catalina Catalina watched in growing horror as the blood began covering Dermet's human form. She stood over his barely conscious body, waiting for him to change to lion form, even though she knew it would be an impossibility. He was too weakened to be able to change. Her attention quickly shifted to the red wolf when she heard it begin to regain its footing. Pure rage filled her; the wolf never should have attacked her Alpha!

Catalina roared at the red wolf when he charged at them once again. The wolf didn't even slow. Even though the wolf was twice as large as her small lioness form, Catalina knew she would defeat him. If she didn't, then Dermet was sure to be killed. She roared at him again, before launching her smaller body at him.

Catalina hit the wolf dead center on his chest, and using Dermet's previous wounds on it, she dug her sharpened claws into the back of the wolf's neck, while locking her jaws around the front. She dug in as deep as she was able to, hoping it would be enough to finish him off.
