~ Josiah The storm was fierce. Between the pouring rain and gusting winds, Josiah was having a hard time keeping up with the felines. He envied them their retractable claws. They were able to dig said claws into the dirt and even points in the sidewalks to keep going. Every step Josiah made, he was pushed back several by the winds.

Harvey stayed close to Josiah's side, helping him as much as he could. Granted it wasn't much, but Josiah was grateful for it anyway. Ceti was several yards ahead of them, his medium-sized lion form leading the way to the last spot the Killt were seen. Sai, a cheetah, and Keto, a bobcat, were also with them. Josiah didn't know either of the two well, Sai he had barely met this morning. He just hoped they could handle themselves against the wolves.

Everything suddenly went still and quiet, when they first came across the Killt. 'Eye of the storm', Josiah thought as he stared at each wolf, there were six in all, and not one of them belonged to Killt before they attempted to kill him. He would have to speak with Dermet over that later. For now, he would focus on the fight. He didn't have much skill in fighting, though he was quite powerful, maybe it would serve him well? He hoped so.

Anger filled Josiah as he stared at the Killt again; just now realizing Albert was not one of the six wolves. Growling in rage, Josiah lunged forward, not waiting for Harvey's command. The red wolf dodged the first couple snaps of his jaws, easily sidestepping every one. Causing Josiah's rage to raise another notch higher. He knew he had to calm down, to think clearly, but he just couldn't seem to do it.

A medium-sized gray blur flew past Josiah, to slam into a black wolf attempting to sneak up on him. He made a mental note to thank Keto when the battle was won. Taking a quick look around as he regrouped, Josiah noticed Harvey was holding his own against two large gray wolves. Ceti had his opponent down, but the black wolf wasn't out yet. Sai was having problems with her red wolf, she was fast, but lacked the strength of the males surrounding her. Sai needed help, though no one had noticed, except him.

Determined now, Josiah turned on the red wolf he was fighting. Two strong bites at his neck, the wolf backed off enough for him to rush past. Sai's wolf had his back to Josiah, allowing him enough time to sneak up and leap onto his back. Josiah's teeth locked tight into the back of the red's throat. Shaking it hard this way and that, satisfaction filled Josiah when the neck finally snapped and the wolf crumpled to the ground dead.

Josiah easily leaped from the falling body and trotted up to the sleek cheetah. He batted her once, making sure Sai was ok, before turning back to his opponent. His red wolf looked awfully pissed. Were the two reds family? Josiah hoped so, it would mean the remaining red was no longer on his a-game. Sai rushed off to aid Harvey after recovering from her fight, as Josiah lunged at the red.

~ Clara The storm was worsening once more. Clara could hear the wind howling through the walls and doors, making her wonder if the old house would withstand the typhoon. Her basement had a hole somewhere within the foundation, causing it to already flood. After losing her lunch when Pipsqueak decided to eat his, Clara curled up upon the couch and attempted to nap through the rest of the storm.

It just wasn't happening though. Strange noises, kind of like howls and hissing, could be heard over the sound of the wind. Every time she heard them, they would cause shivers of fear to course up and down her spine. Pipsqueak lay on the floor by her feet. He didn't seem disturbed at all by the storm or the sounds of the wind.

Clara leaped to her feet when something large slammed into the side of the house. Pipsqueak was instantly gone, slithering through the broken window and outside into the storm. Clara slowly walked to the window and peered outside. Dirt, rain, and a little debris swirled around in the wind, obscuring the view several inches from her face.

Another loud bang against the house caused her to jump a foot into the air. She had to know what was hitting her home, to know if and how much damage it was causing, considering she would have to pay for the repairs. Clara knew it was dangerous outside with the high winds but was willing to take the chance. Pipsqueak was out there already, so Clara really wasn't worried about anything harming her. He was extremely protective of her, and the little Crama always watched her back.

~ Dermet Dermet walked through the storm in the direction of Ceti's post. Harvey was the only experienced fighter in that group and he wanted to make certain they were faring well. Their inexperience was the reason why Dermet had sent them after Ceti's group, considering they were the smallest transgressors.

Dermet wasn't too concerned over Harp's post, even though it was quite close to the young witch's home. Somehow the damn girl had gotten a Crama to be her protector. He still wasn't certain how she had accomplished such a feat. At the moment though, it didn't matter. After the battle, he would get his answers from Josiah.

Harvey and Ceti met Dermet and his group near the playground. Sai, Keto, and Josiah followed closely behind the two. Sai and Keto had a few cuts and scrapes upon their hides, but otherwise, the group appeared unharmed and quite pleased with themselves.

"All transgressors have been dealt with in the west. I left Mary there with a few others to make certain others do not return. Cray still has nothing to report. Harvey, I want you and Ceti to head over there to make sure nothing happens. Keto, head back to Ceti's post and keep guard. Sai, Josiah, the two of you are with me. We're heading over to the east side to aid Harp and his group. Those are your orders. Now head out." Dermet shifted to human form to speak with Harvey, before leading Josiah and Sai to Harp's post.
