Captivated by the Ruler of the Underworld
Chapter 321 Zoe Was Terrified

The scream woke Antolin up.

These days, the Harrison family had been facing continuous troubles.

First, the market value of the Harrison family's company plummeted due to competitive pressures, and then Flora's death brought a memorable loss to the Harrison family. Antolin had been extremely anxious during this time.

Tonight, he finally managed to get some good sleep, only to be woken up by Zoe.

In fury, he kicked Zoe and snapped, "What are you doing in the middle of the night?"

Zoe, still terrified by the figure she had seen, was kicked off the bed, landing headfirst and nearly breaking her nose.

But she didn't have time to be angry. She pointed out the window and said in fear, "A ghost, there's a ghost."

The Harrison family's company was facing an unprecedented crisis. They had hoped to borrow funds from the Coleman family. Nevertheless, the Coleman family, which had developed well, looked down on the Harrison family and had a noncommittal attitude towards lending money.

Antolin understood the Coleman family's true attitude.

He felt that the Coleman family was apathetic.

This time, however, the Coleman family was also in a precarious situation due to Cosmo and Ruby's issues.

They couldn't even take care of the Harrison family.

Antolin felt uncomfortable at the thought of these things, and now Zoe was disturbing his sleep, which only made his mood even worse.

Moreover, Zoe seemed to be under a spell, screaming like a psycho.

This was like a fuse, and Antolin was ready to unleash all his pent-up resentment on Zoe.

Suddenly, a flash of lightning lit up the room, followed by a sound that made the window seem to vibrate.

Zoe hugged herself and backed away.

"A white figure, there's a ghost!"

Antolin, scared by Zoe, looked out the window but saw nothing but an open window.

He instantly felt furious.

He threw off the covers, got out of bed, grabbed the screaming Zoe, and dragged her out of the room. Seeing this, Zoe clung tightly to Antolin's hand, crying, "What are you doing? What are you doing?" Antolin didn't let go, angrily saying, "You're going crazy. Get out and calm down."

'A ghost? There's no ghost!' Antolin thought.

Zoe must go crazy to make him this angry.

When Zoe heard that he was going to throw her out, she clung to Antolin and said, "No, Antolin, I really saw it, a white figure, just like Flora."

"It must be Flora's ghost coming for us. We've treated her so badly; she must be here for revenge."

Antolin opened the door and dragged Zoe to the stairs when he heard this. Perhaps out of guilt, his face immediately darkened. He snapped, "Shut up!"

With that, he flung his hands, and Zoe tumbled down the stairs.

Enduring the pain, Zoe got up from the floor. At that moment, she looked up at the fireplace in the living room and, instead of anger showed a look of terror. "What is that?" 'Isn't it put away? Why is it here?' she thought.

On the mantelpiece lay four memorial photos.

They were Amanda from the Scott family, Amanda's parents, and Flora respectively. Zoe trembled and said, "See, they're all here. They're here to get revenge on us."
