Alpha’s Slave Luna
Chapter 120

Otis's POV:

"Otis, we can finally go back to the wolves, we haven't been out for long but do you know how much I've missed Conrad?" My wolf cried out excitedly in my mind, she looked like a hopping bird, as if she had endured a long silence of loneliness.

"I know, I want to get back to him too, so I will speed up my pace."

I replied to Eda in my mind, while running fast.

The wind around me seemed to form a spirit that dragged my body, and as the temperature around me began to change, the mountain where the white snow wolves were located was hidden behind the rest of the mountains. All I had to do was keep running in this direction and I was able to leave this cold area.

The snow spirit behind me seemed to give me endless strength, he made me feel stable and hopeful, and if I gave it to the attending doctor, the clan would all recover.

One day, it took me less than a day to get here, and I will get back even faster.

Because I no longer need to delay those Dusk Pack warriors on my way back. Wait a minute, Dusk Pack fighters?

As I thought of this, a sense of crisis appeared in my mind for some reason.

Conrad had the power of a wolf king, and with him in the pack there should be no surprises, so what was I worried about?

Had the Dusk Pack warriors not given up on me yet?

"Otis, no, don't keep running in this direction, there's a bad feeling ahead!"

My wolf was warning me, but she seemed to be a step too slow in her warning as I heard movement coming from the surrounding trees.

"Otis, I knew you'd come back from this direction, after waiting so long for you, you've finally appeared!"

The sound of dense shaking leaves came from all directions and I opened my eyes wide at this time as I realised th at all my directions were clogged with such sounds, almost all of them. Those black shadows flickered inside the trees, and to my front left and right, and even on the hillside behind me, uncountable numbers of Dusk Pack warriors were showing their bodies! With numbers like that, it was an entire legion of Dusk Pack!

"Is it worth sending out a legion just to ambush me?"

"Of course it's worth it, you're the woman Conrad values most, and by capturing you, you'll be able to keep him in check."

My face gradually hardened at the sound of the menacing voice as I watched a cold-faced woman emerge from among these Dusk Pack warriors.

"Otis, I already know about Ryan being killed by you at the edge of the desert, I don't know why Conrad suddenly has that kind of power though, but it was just him not you!"

The woman smiled icily, her body looking much more eerie than the average woman as she was simply too strong, she was much stronger than even the male werewolves around him! Suddenly, the woman waved her hand and the next thing I knew, those Dusk Pack warriors were surrounding me even more intensely.

"Otis, aren't you fast, now I'll see how you run, we've blocked all your escape routes!"

The woman's voice reached my ears and I looked around at the Dusk Pack warriors in silence.

There were so many of them, over five hundred in number just from a quick glance.

And they were nowhere near as strong as the rogues, and there was no way I could beat them!

"Otis, pull yourself together, the wolves are still waiting for us, we can't afford to be trapped by them!"

My wolf sensed this too and she was shouting anxiously as I looked around at the mass of Dusk Pack warriors suddenly gritting my teeth.

"I know, so I'll have to do that now."

"How?"

"By pushing my limits again and using the same speed I had back then."

"No Otis, the aftermath as you can see, our bodies can't take it, you'll die!"

My wolf's voice became more anxious as she tried to take control of my body, but I held her in my mind.

"I'm sure my recovery won't let me die, the only way to escape this situation in front of me is with that kind of speed!"

Conrad's POV:

What happened, why did my heart suddenly ache like that for a moment.

The last of the drank potion was placed on the cart and I pushed the already emptied cart towards the hospital, but the pain in my heart suddenly stopped me in my tracks. "Brother Conrad, what's wrong with you?"

A childish voice came from beside me and I rubbed nair's head.

"Nothing's wrong, nair you're doing great."

After saying that I let go of the handle of the cart and turned around and walked in the other direction.

"nair, you help me push the cart into the hospital, I have to leave now."

After saying that I didn't hesitate any longer and quickly walked in the direction of the Blue-moon Pack doors.

"Conrad, I can feel it, this pain is a mate connection, Otis she's in danger!"

My wolf cried out in my mind as a kind of anger began to brew inside my chest.

"What the hell is going on and who the hell would dare put my Otis in danger!"

A low growl occurred in my head and I quickly made my way to the Blue-moon Pack gate and looked in the direction Otis had left, but I hesitated at this point.

"Conrad, what are you still frozen here for, we need to go save our mate right now!"

"I know, but the Blue-moon Pack is right behind me, Kazan has already gone to the Dusk Pack, my people have only just recovered, they are too weak to withstand a fight, and if I leave, they could be in danger!" "That would never put our mate in danger either!"

I listened to my wolf's voice fall silent as pain not only appeared in my heart, but then filled my mind.

To continue protecting the wolves, or to go forward and save my mate?

It was as if I had fallen into a bottomless swamp at this moment. I struggled with all my might, but the more I struggled the deeper I sank.

It was a difficult choice, whether it was the pack or Otis, both were as important to me as my life.

No, I couldn't continue to hesitate like this!

"Otis.......Otis......!"

A sudden flash of blood red appeared in my eyes and I transformed into a wolf at that moment.

The wolves might be in danger but Otis was in danger and I couldn't just wait around!

At this moment I howled in anger, accompanied by countless wolves surrounding the Blue-moon Pack, and then I charged towards the north-west of the Blue-moon Pack.

Even if the enemy did come, the wild wolves I summoned would be able to do something to fend them off, I just needed to disarm the danger Otis was facing quickly with absolute power. "Otis, I will never let you leave my side!"
