Chapter 19

Catalina's

POV

I have gone dress shopping with Rachel for 3 days straight and it has been exhausting. But I am finally glad to announce we have found the dress! Rachel picked a vintage 50s style, knee length, a-line dress. It's beautiful and she's happy, that's all that matters. When I get back to the apartment Andrew is waiting for me with dinner on the table.

"Hey Lina. How was dress shopping?" He's asked me this each day. It's cute.

"We found the dress." I say.

"Oh thank goodness, I didn't know how long I could keep asking that question." He says with a laugh. I laugh and kiss him. I missed him today. I don't often miss anyone. I don't miss any of my family, well maybe David but that's it.

We sit down for dinner and I tell him about taking down Garret, I know Andrew wasn't there for the full spar. Andrew tells me Lucas is bringing two new warriors to training tomorrow. Apparently they are at a higher level, I'm excited. "My dad heard back from his friend, her name is Lilith." He says. I stop eating and stare at him.

"We are going after the next full moon in a week." He says.

"Why then?" I ask

"That's what she requested." He says

"How far is it?" I ask

"Well, we will take a plane up which is about 5 hours. Then we have to drive the rest of the way, which will take a day to get to. She lives very remotely." He says

"Ok, so we'll be back in time for the wedding?" I ask

"Yes, I plan for us to be back 3 days before the wedding so we'll have time for all the wedding activities." He says with a smile.

"Good, I think Rachel would lose her mind if we weren't." I say with a laugh. We finish dinner and start cleaning up. When I'm just about finished with the dishes Andrew comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. He buries his face in my neck and kisses trails down to my mark spot.

"Lina can we talk about marking each other?" Andrew whispers against my skin. I knew we were going to have to talk about this sooner or later. It's not that I don't want Andrew to mark me, I do, I love him. I can't explain my hesitation. To me it doesn't make sense, he is my mate and he's the best person I've ever met. So why do I feel this way?

"It's not time yet" Kayla answers the question I didn't ask her.

"When is the right time?" I ask

"You will know Lina. You will not feel the hesitation anymore." She responds.

"How do I explain that to my mate. He will feel rejected." I plead with her for more.

"Our mate is smart and he will understand. We are not the average werewolf. We are more. We require timing and events to unfold to become who we are meant to be. Lina do not fear losing him, you will always have your mate" Kayla says. I hate when she's cryptic. "Lina baby are you alright?" I'm facing Andrew now and his hands are on my shoulders, wearing a look of concern across his face.

"I'm sorry I was talking to Kayla." I say coming back to the conversation.

"I'm sorry. We don't have to talk about marking if it upsets you." I look of hurt crosses his face.

"No I want to talk about it. I want you to mark me, but I've had a feeling of hesitation. I thought I was scared, so I wanted to ask Kayla about it."

"What did she say?" He asks looking more interested now

"She said it's not time yet. And before you ask she did not say when only that I would know, like that's helpful." I say and Andrew smiles.

"Your wolf is always so mysterious." He adds

"She said we aren't a normal werewolf and we require timing and events to unfold to become who we are meant to be." He looks thoughtful at my words.

"How about this? When you are ready let me know. I'm ready whenever you are." He lifts me and sits me on the counter.

"But until then, I want you to know I love you." He kisses me all over my face and neck between each word, his breath on my skin sends shivers to my core. He opens my legs and pulls my body against his. He lifts my shirt over my head and tosses it, trailing kisses down my collarbone. I glide my hands to the bottom of his shirt and take it off him. I kiss his shoulder and make my way over to his mark spot. I hear him growl into my neck and the vibrations make me giggle.

He pulls me in and I can feel his excitement rubbing against my shorts. I feel my bra loosen and come off. His hand comes up and cups my breast, he pinches and pulls on my ni**le. I let out a moan. I make my way to his pants and undo his button and zipper. He slides off his pants and then leans me back taking off my shorts and underwear. He lifts me back up and pulls my body to the edge of the counter. He makes me feel like I weigh nothing.

His hand slides down between my legs and he finds my nub and rubs gently at first. The tingles from the mate bond shock me and I let out a moan. At this he rubs quicker. I am panting into his neck and he pulls his head back and kisses me.

Then I feel him as his full length enters my body. I moan in his mouth and he growls in pleasure. "Lina you feel so tight around me. It's amazing." His words vibrate in my ear as he pumps in and out of me. My nails dig into his back as the pressure builds up inside me. But suddenly Andrew stops and pulls out, I let out a whimper. He smiles and picks me up off the counter, placing my feet on the floor. He walks me over to the kitchen table.

"Turn around." He says. So I do. "If I'm too rough or you want me to stop just tell me." He says in my ear. I nod. He bends me over the table and lifts my right leg propping it on the chair. My torso is flat on the table. Then I feel him enter me from behind. His hands grip my hips and pull me into him. He stays there a moment before pulling himself in and out of me. His hand tangles in my hair and he pulls back, just slightly. I let out a moan louder then I expected. His other hand grips my hips tight as he pumps faster. I have never felt anything like this. He pulls my head back more and kisses my shoulder.

"Andrew I'm going to-" I couldn't even finish the sentence in time before another moan escapes my mouth. Each one louder than the last.

"Not yet baby. Hold on just a little bit longer. You are doing so good." He says in my ear. I don't know how much longer I can hold it back. His hand reaches up to my bre**t and he has my ni**le between his fingers. My moans get louder and we are both breathing so hard. "Lina baby I want you to c*m for me." He says in my ear. His pace increases more. I stop trying to hold it back and release, I feel him release inside me. He kisses me on my neck and back. "Good girl." He purrs in my ear. He lets go of my hair and takes a step back. He is all sweaty and I can tell the temperature in the room is high by how flushed he is. I feel bad because I don't know how to control it. I think he notices.

"What's wrong babe. Was I too rough?" He asks with concern.

"No, that was amazing. I'm just feeling bad because I don't now how to control the heat thing. You're all hot and flushed." I say. He just smiles and laughs.

"Babe as long as you don't set me on fire, I'll survive. Nothing a cold shower won't fix." He says. Could I set him on fire? I don't know. What if I hurt him without trying to. I can't wait to see this woman to find out more about myself.

"I need a shower too." I say trying not to worry him. We both shower, separately, and crawl into bed. I cuddle up next to him. I think about what Kayla said again, about events unfolding and wonder what she meant. What more needs to happen to me? What needs to happen for me to mark my mate? I try to calm my mind, I listen to the sound of Andrew's breath and drift off to sleep.

I'm in the woods running after Andrew. Then for some reason I stop. Another wolf walks up to me and stands beside me. Mark turns and looks confused. The wolf beside me nuzzles me and I let him. Mark is angry but when he tries to move he can't. Kayla just stands there letting it happen. "Trust me. It is for his protection." She says. I'm furious. I try to break through, but she holds me back. "You will understand soon Lina." She says.
